Professional staff...friendly, helpful....for a price. Room needs some finishing touches in the bathroom area.

I used the hotel staff to help with flight arrangements to CDO and Price Plaza there... the cost of the tickets ended up to be 2 times what it would have been if I had done it myself. The agent in charge could not explain why the fare was multiplied by 2 on the invoice.

I visit Manila a few times a year and this time I was looking for a new superior property which represented good value for money. Considering this time I was going to stay for 13 nights straight I thought it was fair enough to ask for a slight discount. I rang a few other major hotels and some did not even bother getting back to me and others would not move whatsoever on the rate which surprised me somewhat. I then rang the Holiday Inn and not only did they give me a very fair price they upgraded me to a suite which was a very sizeable room indeed. Big tick for the reservations staff.

The hotel was really nice and the location was perfect having such a major shopping centre adjoining the property it made life a lot easier as I did not have to bother to catch taxis to shop or visit an outside restaurant. I found the service right throughout the hotel to be extremely good and very friendly

The hotel had a very nice pool area which I visited most days during my stay. Most of all I just loved "Bar One" on the fourth floor as it has a social club like atmosphere with a large room with a pool table and very good quality live music every night which was a real welcome surprise and the staff were outstanding. The only slight negative was although there was a fridge in the room they had done away with the mini bar system which i do not agree with

This will definitely be my regular hotel now in Manila and can highly recommend it to others as great value for money and a fun place to stay

I was very disappointed in this hotel. I normally stay at Edsa Shangri-la, but all hotels in the Ortigas area was fully booked for the day of my arrival. I could not wait to check out and return to my normal hotel the next day.

The hotel is very old and needs to be updated badly. There is no DSL or broadband connection in the room. When asked if the hotel had wi-fi, I was instructed to go next door to the Robinson Galleria Mall.

Service was mediocre. I tried calling the reception desk several times, but never had anyone pick up.

As for security, I didn't feel safe. Being female and traveling alone, I am very picky on the hotels I stay at. I personally would put in the extra bucks to stay in a safer hotel.

The Crowne Plaza next door seems like a better choice. Pay the extra dollars.

If you want to shop in Manila, this is the place for you. This hotel is attached to a huge mall and also a short cab ride away from another huge mall and the Green Hills Market.

One thing that bugged me a bit was they charge for everything but that is to be expected.

The Suriya Spa in the hotel is also very good, we went every night for a treatment and it was very professional, clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
