“Wonderful trip!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2015

We had wonderful trip through the Philippines with Filipino Travel Center in February 2015. Manila - Pagsanjan (waterfalls) - Manila - Banaue - Batad (valley of rice terrases, waterfalls) - Sagada (caves, hanging coffins) - Vigan (nice town)- Pinatubo (volcano) - Manila. Then we had some flights and ferry on other islands (Bohol, Palawan, Siargao). All our trip lasted 3 weeks. It was very nice time, many interesting places and adventures. FTC is perfect and reliable! We recommend this travel office very much! We found them in internet and all details we perfectly agreed in e-mails (thanks Hans!). During our trip all was very good, on time and according to the agreement: drivers, guides, transport, hotels, flights, ferry etc. They prepared all our trip, program, vouchers and fly (ferry) tickets splendidly (thanks Grace!). And special thanks for JOEL (our driver). We've been to many different countries but definitely JOEL is the best Driver we've ever seen! Very pleasant, polite, cheerful and helpful person. Thanks to him we learned many interesting things about Philippines and Philippinian people, their life, customs etc. It was really marvelous adventure. Very good job FTC!!!

“Safe and comfortable ride”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2015

- We didn't want to sleep on a bus. We wanted to see the road. This is why we took a private tour. It is safer to drive this road at the day time.
- Trip to Honduang Terraces takes about 11 hours at the day time. This is with several stops and the traffic on the roads.
+ It is interesting to stop at the Water Buffalo milk products factory and try their products. It is located on the road outside of Manila.
+ The roads are all in a good shape.
+ Our driver was punctual and the ride was smooth and safe.

“Excellent service but a bit on the expensive side!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2015

My husband and I did a four day/three night private tour of Banaue/Sagada in February. We found Filipino Travel to be very professional and the trip was very well organised. Marie (in their Manila office) was very friendly and helpful, and our driver/guide, Joey, was extremely good - excellent driver and very knowledgeable not only about the places we visited but about everything in the Philippines. The van we travelled around in was very comfortable and this was just as well, because we spent a long time in it. The journey from Manila to Banaue is very long (around 10 hours). We were a little unlucky with the trip in that it rained the whole time we were in Banaue and we had to miss the excursion to Sagada because my husband was ill. Nevertheless, the Banaue Rice Terraces are definitely worth a visit and were still spectacular despite the rain! Hopefully one day they will build an airport nearer Banaue so one can avoid the ten-hour road trip. Filipino Travel currently has an edge over most of its competitors in that it offers more flexibility in its trips and it also compares reasonably well price-wise. However, we thought that the cost of the trip was still fairly expensive for what it was and that the company must be making a fairly hefty profit margin. Because there is little real competition it can do this, For the moment though this is probably the best option. We did not try out any of their other tours but would do so if we returned to the Philippines.

“private tours”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2015

we recently did a private tour with Filipino travel center to vigan, sagado banaue manilla and cebu . they were excellent. transfers and connections were fine and on time. The drivers and guides reliable professional and knowledgeable. the cars clean and air conditioned. they were flexible with the itinerary eg no shopping, more culture less churches, and Joel happily found us a different walking tour of the rice paddies that didn't involve as much uphill, and a different cave and hanging coffin tour to match our not quite up to our desires fitness levels. i celebrated my 60 th birthday with a lovely package of local goodies from Marie at FTC and our honeymoon with a lovely bunch of flowers on arrival. The voucher system worked well and we paid direct to their account in PHP. we would use them again. thanks FTC

“Mt Pinatubo tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2015

My son (24) and husband (59) enjoyed their Pinatubo trek which they booked very easily via the internet with Filipino Travel Center and this included paying for it. They travelled in style from Manila and were looked after the whole day from start (very early pick up 3.30am) to finish in a very professional way. You need to be quite fit as there's a lot of walking involved, but they said it was truly worth it. It was a memorable experience for both of them, although they arrived exhausted at the end of the day, and a real highlight of our trip to the Philippines.
