“Best Mexican in town!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2012

Ristras at Bonifacio Global City is close from where I work so its natural that we have, on several occasions, tried this Mexican restaurant 4-5 times already. Its the closest in flavor and size) to the good taquerias I have tried in the Mission District in SFO. The ingredients are fresh, the servings are generous, you will not be confined to their menu as you more or less have the free hand on how you want your burrito, taco, enchilada, etc to come out. You are offered a good selection of meat, veggies, sidings and fillers that it almost appears no two burritos can come out alike. The place is quite small - probably encouraging take out from the customers - but still, this place clearly stands out among the other Mexican restaurants in Manila. The price isn't cheap but it's not too expensive either. Still, if you compare, you get much better value here.

“Now that's a big burrito!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2011

This review is about the Ristras Mexican Grill branch in Taguig (corner of 5th Avenue and McKinley). I've been looking for a good burrito place in the area for a while and Ristras is an very good option. The burritos are pricier than other places (P330), but they are absolutely HUGE! When you place your order, you can check out at all the containers and choose your fillings: beans, type of rice, salsa, cheese, etc. For an additional PhP90, they can make it wet by adding cheese and sauce on top of the burrito. They also have tacos, enchiladas, etc. which I will have to go back and try. Burritos don't come with chips, but you do get three cups of various sauces to pour into the burrito. If you're in need of a huge burrito, then this is THE place to go!

“Yummy Food but Poor Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2011

Food was good.
We ordered the burrito which was surprisingly huge.
It was very filling, tasty and good to share with 2-3 persons.
The nachos was also good but it would be better to ask the server to have the ingredients separately.
Imported beers were sold in the restaurant, which is cool because you don't have to go far to have an imported beer :)

However, the place was DIRTY. We found plenty of rat droppings :(
also, service was definitely poor!
There were a lot of tables that were full of leftovers. The staffs do not want to get up from their seats and clean them.
