As there are many Don Henrico branches in Manila, I want to be specific in that this review specifically applies to the branch on Pedro Gil St., located directly across from Robinson's Manila in Malate.
My girlfriend and I had multiple issues with this restaurant. First, she asked the waitress (over the loud music from the band) if the ice tea was house (a special blend) or plain ice tea. (like powdered Lipton's.) She answered originally "house". However, when the ice tea came out, it was Lipton's. Strike one.
Secondly, the pasta I ordered (something with shrimp and pesto in cream sauce) came out overcooked. Strike two.
Third, when my girlfriend wanted to fill out the comment card that was included with the receipt, we found out that the one that was included was already filled out and never read. We had to request another one.
To their credit, the management texted my girlfriend within 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant to inquire about her complaint. However, they did not offer any type of compensation.
My advice...avoid this restaurant. There are far better choices for Italian food in Manila.
