“THE place to shop for tight budget”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

Want to shop but have limited budget? That's me and this is the place for me! For me, the best bargains are here - from clothing items, to gift items, shoes, bags, home decors, accessories and many more. There's a food court to go to plus other food stalls in every floor for a quick bite. The best thing here is whatever you buy, you buy it happily after bargaining for the price you feel is best! Tip for Christmas shopping - do it as early as possible (late October or early November) because it gets jam packed with people and it's going to be very, very difficult to go around the place, not to mention, risk the danger of being pick pocketed. Some stalls raise their prices too during the holiday season.

“Shopping delight plus bargains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Ive been here lots of times already as its one of the destinations when you really want to SHOP TILL YOU DROP. This massive mall contains sooo many stores that you get lost eventually but gladly the merchants are very friendly and helpful.

Always bargain! Even if they say its the last price bargain a little bit lower, and if they dont agree then just walk away. You will find similar items on your way around. Just remember the prices as other merchants really put a high tag on the items. Haggle and haggle and you will get the item that you really want.

Its 6 levels of shopping madness. The top floor is where you can find some fastfood chains, but if you want to have some authentic chinese cuisine better go out the mall and go towards the binondo side where there are lots of authentic chinese restaurants.

Be wary of pickpocketers and snatchers as these people love when its really crowded. It gets easily crowded because of the tight hallway provided. Enjoy!

Oh, better come during the weekdays especially around lunch time as it is not that crowded. If you do want better bargains better come around dinner time. Just my observation.

“Shopaholics Haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

i love 168 shopping mall. it is heaven to me and my family. most products don't have prices on display so you can ask for bargain. there are wide ranges for clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, home needs, gift items and a whole lot more. i can spend the whole day here. they have ATM and money changer in case you run short for cash. lots of food too at the food court where you can eat while relaxing your sore feet. definitely, a better shopping experience than going out of the country just to shop.

“168: shoppers recent destination in Manila”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

This shopping mall has gained prominence in the Philippines as it boasts off a wide range of dry goods available for sale at reasonable prices. Garments and household stuff can be purchased here.

I am a frequenter here comparing the goods available in this place and other malls in Manila. I find that the range and price of goods here are at times better in comparison with Tutuban Mall. For instance, while there are more shops selling barong tagalog and formal dresses/gowns in Tutuban Mall, the price of the same products are cheaper in 168 though there are limited stalls.

Some winter accesories are available here and very much cheaper than procuring outside the Philippines.

“Bargain Hunters Haven”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

Everything is cheap, but quality matches the price. A good place to stroll around as there are lots of interesting things for sale. Can become quite crowded at times. After awhile everything starts to be repeated so if you don't have time to look around everywhere you won't miss much. This is in the Divisoria area where you have to be careful of pickpockets etc. Be alert and take the usual precautions, but avoid going there in the evenings.
