“A bit frayed around the edges, but still commendable...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

When they first put up Museo Pambata, there was no other museum like it in the country! That alone is already commendable, given that Filipinos aren't really known to be museum-goers. And to target kids as their main clientele was a stroke of genius, if not magnanimity. Congratulations to the management and staff!

“"A Great Place For Children"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Museo Pambata means Children"s Museum. We find this museum by accident. When we saw it at the first sight, we decided to go into this museum immediately.

This museum is located in the former Manila Elks Club Building, Roxas Boulevard, Manila, Luzon. It was a wonderful experience for us. This place is the great, fun and exciting place to learn something, especially for children.

You can find and learn about the Environment, Old Manila, Career Options, My Body Works, Market Place, Toys, Musical Instruments, Dolls in National Customs, Saving Mother Earth etc. They also offer arts and crafts lesson, shadow play performances etc.

The admission fee is php 100 for both children and adult. Opening hours Tuesday - Saturday from 08.00 AM - 05.00 PM ( September - February) and 09.00 AM - 05.00 PM (March - August) and Sunday from 01.00 PM to 05.00 PM.

So if you have a plan to visit Manila, especially with your kids, Museo Pambata is one of the must visit place in Manila.

“A playground”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

All the kids we brought here loved this place. Adults will also be entertained. It's like a big educational playground.

“for kids and adults”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

visited this museo with my child. it was a wonderful experience for him and me too.its a representation of many things. like it showed how manila was before, the big, big parts of the body, some animals, books and art works, how people did their tradings before, and many more. it filled up two stories of the building. disappointing was that we weren't given a discount just because we were not from manila and the tour guides didn't feel like touring us around. they were all there in one side. chatting and watching this kid dance.only one person was in the counter to receive our payment.
