“not really the hotel that it claims”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

it says that it is a european inspired hotel..in your dreams! ive been to different hotels in europe but it isnt anything like eurotel. Standard rooms are so small, whilst in europe, we dont need to pay for a suite or deluxe to get the best of service. All rooms there are wide.. Eurotel provided as a room that has a small space.
Moreover, they never warned us that the room has no window. It is their responsibility to tell the customer, not the customer to ask them coz it's quite unusual not to have windows in a hotel.
For staying 3 days and 2 nights, our room was never cleaned. And as was expected, the soap dish wasnt really cleaned, the toilet tiles were not well brushed.
It's actually the only hotel I checked in that "room boys/ bell boys" are the one that explains and accepts payments..huh!??!
I wouldnt recommend this hotel. There are other hotels nearby with the same amounnt but has better rooms and services like the Riviera Mansion or the Executive Plaza Hotel.

Buffet breakfast is quite good. Wi-Fi in rooms was not working, only in the lobby. Room and bathroom cleanliness not up to standard, tiles were not scrubbed well. Towels are way too old, though toiletries and free mineral water daily are a plus. I could stay again in this hotel.

We stayed at hotel for three nights and found this place was very nice. Our deluxe city view room was great. Hotel located in center of Manyla and we could chill out for some local restaurant as well as places for visit easily. Staffs could give good directions in city and they explained almost the meanings as well. A good hotel and recommend it!!!

The studio rooms have a window and are not very noisy as far as the traffic in Pedro Gil is concerned. The rooms has all one needs but is not designed for the long staying guest. Instead this is a convenient stop off if you want to take advantage of Robinsons Mall and all that it has to offer.
Breakfast is basic, often full but is included.
You have to ask for your room to be cleaned but it is then done well and with a smile.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window because the noise from the passing traffic is not great from the side o...

stayed in this hotel for 4 nyts as it's near Manila hotel for our convention. the only good thing here is the location it's across robinson's place.
rooms has no window and the aircon is not working well, I think it needs to be cleaned. wallpapers are torn. toilet walls generally moldy, toilet flusher needs repair. soap dish not cleaned well from previous clients stay.
hallways smelly and hot. poorly maintained hotel.
upon chk out I requested for someone to help carry my bags no one came.
the room rates does not justify d service and accommodation eurotel is offering.

Pedro Gil Eurotel is located about 7.9 km from Manila International Airport. It cost me 200 peso to get to the hotel from the airport and 150 peso from the hotel to the airport.
Pedro Gil Street is a one-way street, west-to-east traffic only. Noises from jeepneys, taxis, and other automobiles can be heard early in the morning till late at night. Manila is quite famous for its night life. It is difficult not to see restaurants, clubs, banks, shops etc. in this area once you step out of the hotel door. Pedre Gil LRT station is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel and it cost about 13 to 15 peso to go to major places of interest in central Manila. Jeepney, a unique travel experience in Manila, costs about 8 peso for most stops, and 10 for longer trips in town. Bus ticket costs about 10 to 15 peso most of the time.
Interior decoration of Eurotel is an imitation of European style and flavor, which does attract tourists from Europe. Breakfast is not so lavish, but with two kinds of rice and vegetables, soup of the day, and some fish and meat. For western taste, there are toasts, jam and butter, omelet, and coffee. Do not expect bacon and ham, and German wurst here.
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. But please do not expect each and everyone of them to be well-informed about tourist attractions, public transportation, and details of the city life.
The rooms are clean. House-keeping is efficient. English newspaper at your door every morning is a plus. But the cover of the mattress is worn and torn and there is no padding between the bed-sheet and the mattress. There is no blanket on your bed unless you request one. Local telephone calls from your room are free. But you cannot dial international there.
Pros: nice and helpful staff;
Good location;
Free newspaper and local phone calls;
Value for money.
Cons: Worn and torn mattress cover;
No blanket.
In a nutshell: you pay your money and make your choice.

Room Tip: Studio with a window is better than one without.

Stayed for two days here, i booked it trough expedia, it said it has safe deposit and when i checked in, no safe deposit box in room, first night was ok, but power stopped twice around 8-9 pm before bedtime, so i have to call front desk to checked on it, power got restored in few minutes. The second night was a nightmare, no power around 3 am, i was sweating like crazy and woke up mad, called front desk and the lady was an apologetic, i got pissed. How would you like waking up in the middle of the night after a long day in a hot windowless room without power, no air, no light? Well I guess you get your moneys worth.

Room Tip: verify first what they claim they offer.
