“friendly, small hotel in a good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We spent a week here and were very happy. The hotel looked like the pictures on the website and rooms were clean and quite spacious. It is quite charming. We received good service here and found the hotel staff really friendly and helpful. We found the location very handy as we like to walk around cities and explore. We were able to walk comfortably to both Intramuros and Pasay. Taxis are fairly cheap and we got taxis to Makati city. There are some great restaurants nearby including 'Aristocrat' and 'Cafe Adriatico' . There is Harrison's mall and Robinson's mall just around the corner.

We loved it. The friendliness of the staff and the style of this otherwise private house made it look like were were guests at a friends place. Room was comfortable and spacious. All in order for being the perfect base to explore Manila. Excellent value for money.

I would serious recommend this Hotel! The staff and manager are realy friendly and helpfully!
They will give you excellent advice for the tours you like to do! and will look for the best deal!

Nothing is too much and too much is nothing for those people!
they will organise it all for you, and will help you if you are in any kind of trouble!
so they do deserve all credits! realy great service!

To continue:

The Hotel and rooms are nice and clean,
the area of the hotel is quiet and not noisy
the price is more then OK, good deal for what you get!

Just great!

A no-frills budget hotel inside Malate, near Malate Catholic School. It takes about a 15-minute walk to Robinsons Mall. If you're scared of your surroundings, take a short ride to a cab which is many in that area.

Rooms have queen-sized beds, a/c, lots of old cabinets (don't know why) and cable TV (lots of channels by the way). No refrigerator or any other trimmings. The exteriors of the hotel looks elegant, but the rooms and everything else is passable, but nothing extra-ordinary. They don't even have a restaurant, only a coffee shop which looks like a canteen. One can order coffee and breakfast, not included in the room rate, but as for myself, I just bought my food outside.

For P2,000 a night, it's not a steal, but not so expensive either. That's why its so-so. OK, passable, but not something to rave about.

Room Tip: This is good for people who like to try hotels even just once. But forgettable just the same.

the hotel is not in the busy area of Malate. It's owned by an American and Filipina Married couple. Had the chance to meet and talk to them during our stay. It was a very cozy hotel. The staff was very nice. It feels like you're just at home. a very short walk going to the Malate church and the rest of the restaurants on the Roxas blvd street

Room Tip: Rooms are large compared to how you see it on pictures.

I had a pleasent stay at the Casa Nicarosa hotel in Malate, a walking distance to the bayside, although its renovated, I could enjoyed it because of my proffession being a civil engineer. Malate is as I been told the ancient place where history been made. The hotel is hidden, first dissapointed end then wow... not bad. Is worth the price. Thanks to the manager/owner Chynthia. I enjoyed her presence. And of course the staff, very nice and kind Phileppinas. Love them. I definetly will pay them a visit again. Keep on the good work.
