“Where was the bread????”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Over all experience was just average to me. Being an American having experienced eating at many Texas Roadhouse Grills in the US, I found the one in the Philippines (Bonifacio HIgh Street to be a let down.

The oh so good bread that most TRH serve upon your arrival was missing in the Philippines TRH. When I asked the wait staff, their reply was "no bread, but we have peanuts". Is this really a TRH, for real.

The peanuts were like baby peanuts, but that is normal in the Philippines.

There were only 4 steak items on the menu, all other items were pasta dishes, chicken, and so on. Once again, is this a real TRH?

It looks like one, but you do not get the same menu items like you do in Dubai, or the USA.

How ever the over all taste of the food was good, so just an average.

Service was below average, as in the Philippines that is normal, you have to ask for refills to your drink, the wait staff will not ask you even if they see you r glass is empty.

“Yummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

This is the 4th time I ate at this resto.. first was in the states.. and the rest in Manila. Although I like the ones in the states better.. the ones here in Manila are also great. Service is good. The waiters are fast and friendly. Food is great!! Of course, I always order steaks. And the bar is great. You can watch live sports on tv at the bar. They also serve free peanuts for appetizer just like in the states. Although the peanuts are not as big. In the states you can throw the nut shells just everywhere. In manila, no one does. Their grilled pork steaks with swiss cheese on top are yummy. The steaks are great!! I recommend the Flat Iron Steak and the Ribeye. You can ask them to switch the mashed taters with rice if you prefer rice to go with the meats. You can also choose your sides. One negative comment is about desserts. I ordered the Chuckwagon's and it's just way too small. the serving is small. But it's yummy. :) I'll come back and try the burgers next time! :)

“Texas Road House Grill at the Fort does not meet standard”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Since I am an American expat living in Manila, I was hoping that the Texas Road House Grill would follow the standards as the same named restaurant chain in the US. About the only thing they have in common is the price.

The Manila version does not have the signature bread that the Road House is famous for nor are baked potatoes available. Rather than baked potatoes, the Manila Texas Road House Grill at the Fort features something they call mashed potatoes. They may be suitable for hand to hand combat but certainly not eating. Pure crap.

But wait; compared to the meat that the Texas Road House Grill attempts to pass off as beef, maybe the potatoes aren't so bad. If one orders the Rib Eye (the most expensive steak on the menu) I recommend that one brings their own chainsaw to cut the thing. Actually, it is hard to find the steak among the grizzle and fat.

For a true taste treat, try theTexas Nachos. Having spent time in Texas, I can tell you these nachos do not resemble anything called nachos in Texas.

So, overall the Texas Road House Grill at the Fort has nothing in common with the Texas Road House Grill from the US and if that is your standard be prepared for a huge dissapointment,
