pretty large museum with little attraction
but it was averagely okay for a such a small island less than 1 million people
please note that entrace ticket is lke two or three tmes more than local tourist
overall it was a better place
The museum has an imposing presence. Basically, it is two large rooms of objects. They are nicely arranged. All in all, not much to see.

A large impressive building but it flatters to deceive. It would appear that the Maldives does not have much history. If they have to display the first telephone and first typewriter on the islands (and they do) then that should tell you everything you need to know. If they concentrated on the natural history (and there is an abundance) then it may just be worth a visit. Male' isn't worth a trip either. The Maldives are a wonderful place for visiting, especially if you scuba dive, but avoid the capital.
The National Museum is situated inside the Sultan Park. We couldn't get inside of The National Museum,as we were limited in time!So,the tour guide just took us around the park.But it was very nice to stroll in the shadows of the old trees in the Sultan Park on a humid summer day!
There was a wish-tree in the park!So if you make a wish touching that tree your dreams will certainly come true!
