“DELICIOUS CURRY LAKSA!!!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

I have known Madam Kwan's since 2000 when I first came to Malaysia. That was at the KLCC branch, and I have eaten at 3 or 4 other branches many many times.

I love love love the curry laksa. The flavour is intense, the tamarind/chilli paste is superb but not too hot, and the

The physical environment of the restaurants has improved over the years, although I find them a little too open so its a bit like sitting in the middle of the shopping mall, noise included.

They do serve beer, but it is never cold enough. The glasses are kept in the fridge, when it should be in the freezer, and bottles are just never cold enough.

Overall, I love this place!

“Nasi Lemak a must try”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Service is quite efficient as most of the waiters will walk around to see if you need anything. Their nasi lemak is a must try! Curry chicken with it is totally delicious with prawn floss makes it tastes better.

“Nice food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Very popular and authentic. Two of us ate there and we had a big feast. Service is good. Price is not the cheapest but worth a try.

“Madam Kwan's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

There are few restaurants around - e.g. in the twin towers, Mega mall. Good food. Whenever we have gone it is always v busy had have had to wait for up to 30min for a table which can be challenging for small kids. So do book in advance.

“Really good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

Went for dinner here before the cinema. Ordered the Malaysian satays for starter (mixed chicken and beef) - really recommend this as you get 6 satays, some pineapple pieces, onions and cucumber and the best peanut satay sauce! For mains I had sweet and sour chicken and boiled rice and my wife had beef, chicken and prawn noodles (cant remember the name). Both really delicious. Menu had plenty of choice and service was good and fast (we ate at 4:30). Price including 2 cokes was about £20 which was good value we thought. When we left there was a lot of reserved signs on the tables so you may need to book ahead if you want to eat later!
