“Must add chilli”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

Try to be there early to beat the lunch crowd. Portion may be a bit small for some; if can order at one go - save time as there will be people waiting for your table. Must add the chilli to give the pan mee the 'kick' and 'magic', so to speak.

“Original Dry Chili Pan Mee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Came here several times and this place could be quite hot and stuffy especially when when it's very sunny outside. However, I think it can't be helped as this is their first stall. They have more stalls now in Pandan Indah and the latest I've seen is at Publika. What a fairy tale story this has been. Simple but great noodles, which is quite hard to perfect I think. The noodles are springy and nice to chew. The chili flakes are great too, and topped with the poached eggs which combines all the ingredients. Gave 4/5 because one of the staff was a bit rude.

“Nice Chilli PanMee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

The original creator of the Chili Pan Mee! Very delicious and will satisfy any noodle loving person. the texture of the flat noodles are perfect! The dish always tatste much better when the owner prepares it himself. Opens from 7am in the morning.

“Chilli Pan Mee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

The original shop now is managed by the owner but cooked by Indonesian maids, served by bangladeshis and burmese workers. I personally like the branch in Pandan Indah better(managed by the son). Although the noodle quality has slacked off a bit but still quite good, and still the best chilli pan mee in KL.

“Chilli Pan Mee and little else”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012 via mobile

once a week, whether i need it or not.

Fresh pan mee made in a noodle machine for each bowl. Crisp ikan bilis and a pork mince sauce. An egg poached with leaves. The egg is added to the noodles.

The leaves and stock are served separately. fried chilli flakes colour the noodles. Hard to beat.

Of course they really only have one dish, but whi cares when it is really good?

Been there 10-20 times. Will go again.
