“"Had a wonderful experience in Impiana"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2012

We had a wonderful experience at Impiana. Free of charge WIFI in all rooms. All the staffs are very helpful and always smiling. The rooms were clean. The hotel is just a short walk to the petronas...a lot of nearby restaurants. I simply adore everything in there. We will surely comeback to Malaysia and will definitely stay again at Impiana.

The Hotel located at the center of KualaLumpur .. everything around you ... you can just walk 5 minutes to reach Twin Towers & Suria Mall ... also, you Arab st, Fahrenheit Mall, and Menarah ... Its Great & clean Hotel with very helpful staff, i adore everything there, especially two persons Mahafez & BIBI @ the reception (They were so helpful and friendly) .. Impiana is such great Hotel, and the green apple with the music at the lobby in the night make you feel like a King ... you will find all you need to discover Malaysia there .. just ask any one of them ... you can ask for Map while u arrive to the hotel and they make reservation to Singapore too .. also they can book the taxi for you to any place with best fares you will like ... we will comeback soon .. the breakfast was great .. and the restaurant was very clean and helpful staff ...

Room Tip: Higher floors are better .. but i wish they finished the noise beside the hotel

Was here on short stay and during that time we had a wonderful stay unlike the one before when we stayed in another hotel. The best thing about this place is the location. With the new walk way which is air conditioned and manned we could easily walk to the Suria KLCC as well as to the Pavilion Mall. The room was nice and the breakfast buffet spread was incredible. The only downside of the restaurant was that the tables and chairs were to close to each other and was difficult to manouver around the buufet. Otherwise
I would recommend this hotel and would be back again myself.

This was our second time staying at the Impiana. We again stayed in a suite. Very spacious, huge bathroom, very clean . Iron and irioning board provided, small fridge, robes, door bell.
We had dinner two nights in the restaurant. Very nice, lots of spicy food to try. Breakfast was busy and the staff were always there clearing dishes and topping up food when needed.
Reception staff and door men were always friendly and helpful. Pool area was nice . There is a lot of building work going on around the hotel and it was never a problem with us. Very easy walks to shopping areas. We were picked up by the hotel and arranged to be driven back to the airport at the end of our stay.

Great location around KLCC with lots of shopping area to go if you are into shopping.
Connected by a bridge that links to major shopping mall, Pavilion, Starhill, KLCC.
Room is nice and comfortable. Got a queen bed and ask for next category of room superior if you want a king size bed
Request high floor and facing twin towers for a splendid view.
Service is excellent. Staff greet with a smile and check in process was fast. Ushered to room within5 minutes.
Had a great Staycation..

Stayed at Impiana over the Lunar New Year weekend, this time with my family to attend a wedding at the nearby JW Marriott. The experience was once again great. First and most importantly, the staff at Impiana never fail to impress - they are polite, helpful and accommodating, treating guests with utmost respect. The hotel typically provides complimentary fruits in-room and as it was LNY when we were there, we got 4 mandarin oranges.

I stayed in the superior room without breakfast this time round (stayed in deluxe previously). Got 2 rooms at a promo rate with early bird discount. Rooms are clean and well maintained. All amenities in good working condition except the air conditioning. The air con in my room was not strong enough - we had to turn it down to 10deg on high fan mode to cool the room. On the other hand, my parents' room was cold at 20deg. The air con prob needed maintenance but I didnt make a fuss as the temperature was still okay though I had to adjust the aircon settings.

Secondly, I need to share my thought on the bed. It is a queen sized bed (I think), which is okay for average sized people BUT the duvet was too small. Duvet should fall off the bed edge when laid but the duvets in the superior room covers just up till the edge of the bed. This makes it a problem when you have 2 people sharing the bed as the duvet is not enough to cover 2 people comfortably; you will end up pulling the duvet from the other to keep warm! I dont think the duvet is the correct size for the bed. If you are bigger than average, I suggest you go for the deluxe king rooms.

The room came with free broadband so I brought along my notebook. No free WIFI but it was just announced yesterday via the hotel's official facebook page that ALL rooms come with free WIFI now! This is simply great news! I guess feedback from guests are considered seriously. I am glad to know there will be free WIFI for my next trip to Impiana.

Other than that, the room is spacious enough and fully equipped with a full bath (no separate shower), toiletries, cable TV, coffee & tea making facilities with complimentary bottled water daily, hand bidet, hairdryer in the desk drawer, iron and ironing board, a safe, bath robe etc etc etc.

As mentioned previously, the hotel is at an excellent location, within walking distance to KLCC, Pavilion and the rest of Bukit Bintang so you have easy access to food and shopping! There is a newly opened area just behind the hotel called KL City Walk, which was somehow closed when we were there BUT they blast Lunar New Year songs everyday, even till late. This is beyond the hotel's control as it is external so if you get rooms facing the back of the hotel, do ensure you pull the curtains fully to keep out the noise!

All in all my stay at Impiana was great except for the minor hiccups above. I will definitely be back, but will probably opt for the deluxe king room again next time!

Room Tip: Opt for deluxe room with king bed if you are bigger than average in size.
