Sorry to report that this is my second time at this hotel as I like the location for shopping but did not like the staff attitude they were inattentive and dismissive. We had spent 3 weeks in Thailand where the people were just delightful, funny and quirky and it was awake up to come into KL everyone is so serious and abrupt. There is a lovely woman on the front desk who I would commend. We stayed pre renovation and now not much difference our room was stock standard for the price. There is no colour its all dreary and depressing. Did not like being in the room.

We spent time in the bar to listen to the live entertainment late in the evening had a good singer. Breakfast was good. A curious thing happened we had difficulty getting a set of scale to weigh our luggage and had to ask 4 times they just did not understand our Australian accent or what we wanted. This process took 1 1/2 hours to resolve then at 12.00 noon the room shut down all electricity turned off you get kicked out it and was not our fault we were still there. We just felt uncomfortable, it was sort of dull ending to a wonderful holiday.

Hi hubby and i stayed here for 3 nights before travelling onto Bali end of May. We had a deluxe room booked but when we checked in, hubby mentioned it was our anniversary and they kindly upgraded us to an executive room part of the orchid rooms. the room was amazing, very modern, plasma TV, comfy beds and lovely bathroom, with separate toliet, shower and bath. shower was really powerful. i am very fussy but i LOVED this room! the staff were wonderful always quick to help out and point us in the right direction. we had dinner at one of the restaurants which was nice and breakfast was very good. the location was fantastic very close to the nice shopping centres like the Pavillon and Starhill galary. we would def recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel albeit everything is a little dated, from the room to the bathroom fittings. Still, one does not get the feeling that anything is really rundown. My room was rather small, but I checked on the fire exit map of my floor, and it seems mine was among the smallest rooms the hotel had.

The staff is professional and courteous and the location is excellent. The breakfast spread is among the best I have ever seen.

I would not hesitate to stay here again, but I only hope they do something about their crazy system of connecting to the internet (they have wifi, but you need a cable. Internet access for my room was included, but I had to first choose a package and then the charge was reversed!?).

Stayed here a couple of nights. Via Wotif we got a special rate which made it worth while. A typical chain hotel. Nice and clean bathroom and the room was ok. Internet was very expensive, good breakfast and a central location.
Not much atmosphere but ok.
