Billed as Asia's largest covered bird park, the design is such that most birds roam free in this park possible due to overhead canopy stretching through most of the zones. This makes for interesting close encounters for instance getting the peacock male dance in full Monty style.
Parrot feeding area is too small and hectic. I like Singapore's Jurong bird park's approach with the fairly large and fun tree house design. Note to self: don't feed parrots while holding a 6-month-old baby. The baby can get hurt... Poor Deborah :(
This park is deceptively large and like the rest of kL is hilly and so just the simple walk around is moderately strenuous especially with very young children.
Enjoy! The rest of the city gardens park area requires further exploration. We'll be back.
