“Amazing artefacts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Easy to get there and well worth the effort. Close to a whole bunch of other things to do as well. The museum collection is stunningly beautiful and as it is not too large yet can get around it quickly if you want but the quality is unbelievable.

“Islamic beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

As westerners with a Christian heritage this museum was both beautiful and informative. Particularly enjoyed the models of mosques from around the world.

“beautiful and huge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

This white, mosque style building offers several floors displaying artefacts of Islamic history across the world, and in Malaysia. One whole section has models of mosques in different parts of the world, explaining the main styles. Clothing, korans, script, and the building itself are a triumph of respect and pride. Fascinating. Even for a non-believer.

“Visit to get knowledge of Islamic Mosques around the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

It is just opposite to National Mosque, KL. Though they collect a small amount for enterance free it is worth to watch. You will have the glimpse of mosques prototypes all over the world. Top attractions will be the Qur'an in different sizes, the Islamic antiques and collection of all over the world. The place is quite and peaceful.

“Very interesting and informative about Islam”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Excellent with small display about local art, jewels and handicrafts. Very interesting collection of scale models of famous mosques and very informative about key figures and famous places in Islamic culture.
Well laid out, but unfortunately taxi driver took us to the Malaysian equivalent of Al Jazeera TV first, before he realised his mistake and returned for us!.
Foolishly I hadn't twigged that the nearest refreshments were a good 20 minute walk away at the monkey park as it was ramadan, so meeting up later with my husband who always takes longer than the rest of us in museums wasn't as straight forward as we hoped. The museum was wonderfully cool and airy in a busy city.
The rest of the park wasn't very interesting the orchid garden was a particular disappointment.
