Having read some of the previous reviews, I have certainly seen a marked improvement in the service standards and the breakfast menu at Delicious. So kudos to the staff and management for listening to the feedback and acting on it.
We stayed at the E&O Residences, KL over the long CNY weekend. We arranged for transport from the airport and when we drove into Jalan Tengah, the driver mentioned that the road condition was poor due to construction works for an adjacent property to E&O. [We braced ourselves for a noisy stay but was pleasantly surprised that we were not disturbed throughout our stay... good sound proof windows]
When we arrived, we were greeted by the concierge who was very prompt to take our luggage and lead us to the reception. The staff was polite and attentive to us especially to our kids. Checking in was hassle free. When we got to the apartment on the 10th floor, we were pleasantly pleased with our choice to stay here - a well furnished 2+1 bedder. The living area was spacious and the view overlooking the pool was very nice but a higher floor would probably give a better view of the city. The kitchen was very well furnished, with an island sink, a built in oven and microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, kettle, cookware and enough cutlery for four.
The bedrooms were also spacious and there was more than sufficient storage space. The baths were also quite large with a tub in the master room.
The pool is really nice as mentioned in the previous postings but the yoga and meditation rooms were spartan. The gym was suitably fitted. And the kids playground was innovative. All in all, the amenities were generous.
Breakfast at Delicious was decent but nothing to shout about. [Cannot compare to E&O Penang lah which is the hotel's cafe, this isnt... I think]. They had the usually egg station, breads station, sausages, chicken ham, wedges, some local fare and several juices options. Service staff were prompt and polite.
The location was just off the Bukit Bintang shopping belt. You could either take a 10-15 min walk or a 5min taxi ride. I think the LRT is also an option but we opted for the taxi as we were traveling with kids.
