“Quiet, centrally located and awesome staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Having read some of the previous reviews, I have certainly seen a marked improvement in the service standards and the breakfast menu at Delicious. So kudos to the staff and management for listening to the feedback and acting on it.

We stayed at the E&O Residences, KL over the long CNY weekend. We arranged for transport from the airport and when we drove into Jalan Tengah, the driver mentioned that the road condition was poor due to construction works for an adjacent property to E&O. [We braced ourselves for a noisy stay but was pleasantly surprised that we were not disturbed throughout our stay... good sound proof windows]

When we arrived, we were greeted by the concierge who was very prompt to take our luggage and lead us to the reception. The staff was polite and attentive to us especially to our kids. Checking in was hassle free. When we got to the apartment on the 10th floor, we were pleasantly pleased with our choice to stay here - a well furnished 2+1 bedder. The living area was spacious and the view overlooking the pool was very nice but a higher floor would probably give a better view of the city. The kitchen was very well furnished, with an island sink, a built in oven and microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, kettle, cookware and enough cutlery for four.
The bedrooms were also spacious and there was more than sufficient storage space. The baths were also quite large with a tub in the master room.

The pool is really nice as mentioned in the previous postings but the yoga and meditation rooms were spartan. The gym was suitably fitted. And the kids playground was innovative. All in all, the amenities were generous.

Breakfast at Delicious was decent but nothing to shout about. [Cannot compare to E&O Penang lah which is the hotel's cafe, this isnt... I think]. They had the usually egg station, breads station, sausages, chicken ham, wedges, some local fare and several juices options. Service staff were prompt and polite.

The location was just off the Bukit Bintang shopping belt. You could either take a 10-15 min walk or a 5min taxi ride. I think the LRT is also an option but we opted for the taxi as we were traveling with kids.

Stayed in a 2 rooms suite. The unit is very spacious and well equipped. I just find that the 2 single beds in the second bedroom are a bit too small. The beds are only 3 feet wide. It will be difficult to sleep on it if you are a big sized person. If you are driving there, park your car at the ground level and check-in first before you drive your car into the basement carpark. You need your room card to gain access to the basement car park. Breakfast is very basic. The pool is awesome. Will definitely come back.

What a lovely resort like property...beautifully done up units, very new so, I hope they maintain the property..loved the pool..great view, crisp linen..delightfully attentive staff, nice setting. Top class location, although the road outside is terrible. I would stay here in a heartbeat..BUT and I have a big BUT...absolutely disappointing breakfast..in a serviced apartment/ residences, that's the one meal you have before heading out...and believe me it leaves a LOT to be desired..having stayed in the E&O in Penang ...well frankly my expectations were high...but this was a complete let down, not enough choice, panic stations, mad rush, really very very basic- felt I was back at the very disappointing Su Casa...where the breakfast quality is equally poor...but it's half the rate!

So , guys, this is an E&O venue, I know u own Delicious the Resturants...but please get this right...otherwise, people ain't coming back, no matter how nice the pool!

Room Tip: High floor..better view.

I am delighted when I get there and see such a beautiful place in KL. The hotel is well located, easily accessible to LRT and shopping area and food. The room are spacious, well equipped and they even offered a nice breakfast at the Delicious restaurant.
However, they are definitely room for improvement on the service and other details..Being a guest, we won't know that the car entrance lane are separate into two for residence and non residence. No signage was stated at the entrance and causing a lot of inconvenience. When I said I'm coming in for check in, none of the security guards at the front entrance could give us a clear direction as in where to park our car or unload our stuff for check in. By the time we enter into the tower where stated E&O residence carpark entrance, then we were stopped by another security person, he explained that we can't get into the E&O residence car park before checking in as the carpark access card will be the room key. So, We have to do another round of reversing and turning, park the car outside, check in and again go back to park the car at the underground car park.
You might think that this is not an important factor, but being a guest who has been driving for a long journey from other place, this small signage or instruction do helps a lot in preventing waste of energy. Worst is, when I shared with the front desk personnel, she doesn't seems to understand the whole process flow.
Hope that they will improve it in future.

Stayed 2 nights with my family of 7 and booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was mind-bogglingly exquisite! The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we we awe-strucked! It was tastefully and elegantly furnished, with a to-die for bathroom. The place was huge! Fully furnished with everything you could ask for! The view was awesome too. The swimming pool was gorgeous, well-equiped gym and there was even mini jacuzzis for couple with curtains for privacy! Breakfast was too simple though. Often, the food ran out and there was less than 20 items offered including drinks. And the location was a bit away from the main shopping area in Bukit Bintang. Other than that, it was definately a luxurious stay! Will come back again for a romantic stay with my fiancée next time!

Spent 3 days in KL, and we stayed at the newish E&O residences on Jalan Tengah (near Raja Chulan monorail station). This place only opened in Dec 2012, and it is so lovely - spacious apartments with a fully equipped kitchen, lovely stand alone bath-tub, free wi-fi, swimming pool and gym. Really enjoyed our stay here. Still a few minor teething problems, but overall we loved having this quiet, comfortable haven right in the CBD of KL.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012 via mobile

This property is new. I have been to new hotels before and to me, this one seemed less prepared than other brand new hotels. Given the price and having expecting the same standard as the E&O Penang, this property could do more. For a 5-star place, it is all about service and details details details.

Rooms - Big and spacious. Fully-equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom. Living room was alright. The manual was useful. I received a welcome note but it was attention to another guest.
Security guards - Friendly and always eager to help but I think they need to learn simple English as guests will go to them instead of the concierge which is located in a faraway corner.
Reception - Good. Saw them at checking in and out only. Overall, great service staff. When we arrived, 1 staff came running towards our vehicle to guide us. But once we were in the basement carpark, we were lost as the guards on duty didn't know how to direct us due to communication problems.
Breakfast - Simple stuffs at the Delicious Restaurant. Staff showed displeasure when I brought my 3 year old son + a baby with me. Asking me sacarstically "only 2 breakfast vouchers?" Anyway, both my children had their breakfast before coming down. I guess the staff can just be more "gracious" like other hotels. A bun or 2 doesn't hurt. They are kids.
Turnover - Very nice cookies placed on the dining table. Great as a snack. Finished them up.
Swimming pool - a nice rectangular pool. Jaccuzzi area was nice.
Location - In town. Short walking distance to restaurants, etc. But not walking distance to KLCC Shopping center.

May consider this place again for future visits but I would consider Ascott KL first.
