Visited KL from China for a business trip (also some tourism was on the plan), and planned to stay somewhere near the KLCC. But Chinese colleagues preferred China Town, so Swiss Inn was arranged.

Stayed for 12 nights. Overall Nice Stay. Especially good for shopping plus tourism (with a bit of business) and solo tours; but perhaps you can find a better place if you are in KL for purely business purpose/meetings.
Htl is right in the middle of crowded, noisy, stuffy China Town/Petaling. Street hawkers, food stalls, chinese goods, massages working till late night.
Hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. Single rooms, a bit small, no cupboard or suitcase stand, just place for hangers in a corner. Beds, sheets, quilts, pillows, air conditioning quite good.

Washroom a bit small and very basic, not enough room to place your toiletries; but ok and clean with enough clean towels.
Wifi Internet was great, good speed/signals. Room Service very good. overall Staff was ok.

Nice fresh breakfast in the nice Cafe matches some of the star hotels. Cafe has main entrance at the back of the hotel, right into the Petaling street, and seems quite popular as a standalone cafe for tourists. Lots of people stop by to have a drink or cup of coffee.

China Town is full of low price Chinese goods (I am based in China, so I just visited these shops for study purposes) and 24 Hour convenience stores. However, there is no proper good shopping mall. For more advanced shopping you will have very easy access to Butkit Bintang Shopping area and KLCC; KL tower is also very near, TAXI to all of these places will cost you within 4-7 Ringgit. PasarSeni Metro (LRT) station and also Masjid Jamek LRT (Metro) Junction very near where you can get metro line in different directions. Just check the nearest LRT station to your destination.
Mcdonald,KFC, Nando's just across the street. Street Food everywhere.
Intercity bus station nearby, where you can get excellent buses to nearby tourist cities.
Overall nice stay, in the happening area of KL. Recommend if you are a tourist; shopper or Solo traveler.

Stayed here for 2 nights after relocating from 2 (terrible) budget hotels in Bukit Bintang area. We stumbled across this clean and well located hotel by coincedence while shopping in Chinatown and decided to move here for our remaining stay in KL. Hotel was recently renovated and updated. Twin room had all the necessary amenities we could need (except for a suitcase rack). Room had no window, but we didn't even missed it since it was nicely decorated with curtains and very quiet. Plasma television, tea & coffee making facilities, bar fridge and compact clean bathroom. Everything is pretty new and neat. Also enjoyed breakfast - basic cereals, fruit, croissants, sausages and asian cuisine. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was a lovely meal - chicken satays served on a hot tray! Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting KL (especially for the shoppers!) since it is on Chinatown's doorstep and only a 10min walk from Masjid Jamek station from where you can go anywhere for only a few ringgit.

Room Tip: Stayed on 4th floor and room was very quiet with no noise from outside.

We stayed there 3 nights in September, excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, close to two train stations, which gave you easy options to getting around. Great location in the middle of Chinatown. No complaints, would stay there again.

A great escape from busy china town. The hotel really does feel like a hotel- expect drinks on arrival and hot towels as well as clean towels and sheets everyday and friendly and helpful staff. Shower was amazing and tv fab with lots of english channels. Would return.

The Swiss Inn is a good budget option in Chinatown. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Our room had no window but I liked how there were curtains. The illusion made it a little less claustrophobic! The hotel is 5 min walk to the major bus station and LRT. We'd definitely stay again if looking for a good value hotel.

Clean, good breakfast, wi-fi free and efficient, no windows in most of the rooms! Comfortable place in the middle of crowded smelly chinatown! Accessible to most of the touristic places.
Great place for a modest price!

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room with window
