“Vastly improved from last time I visited”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

It was dingy and smelly the last time I visited but it's been a super make-over now and the hotel looks colorful and bright. The only reason I book this hotel on my KL visit is because of it's location.

Right in the middle of shopping, really close to metro and monorail stations and purduraya bus station. All these places are at 5min walking distances.

The standard rooms are quite small but manageable for 2 persons on a short-trip.

If you love to shop at Chinatown and want to be in a decent centrally located hotel KL without burning a hole in your pocket, this is the perfect place.

The only thing I'd want them to improve is to add more veg options in the breakfast buffet.

We have stayed he 3 times previously, mainly for its location but this time were very impressed by its make over. Much brighter and cleaner. Only downside was that they gave us singles rather than a double despite having booked 6 months ago. Positive that when we arrived, despite the fact that the restaurant was closing, they still managed to find us a meal.

Right in the heart of Chinatown, walking distance to all the shopping areas, restaurants, near LRT station and great breakfast buffet with awesome omelets. Our room was clean and large enough, but lacked a window (which I don't mind personally). The only downside was paid WiFi, 10 RM for 24 hours.

Accommodation in KL is not cheap for the budget traveler, but this was our nice splurge. The room was small, and most rooms don't have windows, but it was modern and nice. Great breakfast buffet included and right in the heart of Chinatown.

This was a nice place to stay in KL, walking distance to all the shopping areas and restaurants, the road directly out front is a busy one to cross though. The hotel is large and modern with all the luxury appointments you would expect of a hotel in this range. The bufet breakfast was great and varied, business centre was easy to accsess, pool area was nice and private. Our rooms were a decent size with everything clean and , ensuite was ok but does need to have a renovation.

An average hotel with splendid location with a Pasar Seni lrt station is just 10 minutes walking distance and petaling street just a street away from the hotel. Pasar Seni station is one stop away from KL Sentral LRT station where there is a shuttle service that which will take you to KLIA and lcct airport which is much cheaper than taking a cab. The hotel offer a wi-fi service at 10 rm for 24 hours.

Room Tip: If you do not mind having a room with no window, you can get a good deal. The room with a window is...

Best option is to show up in Chinatown, KL, and walk around, finding places that are much cheaper for the same quality or better.

The facilities are amazing at first sight, but quickly we realized it wasn't worth the price tag. The breakfast buffet was not so hot, and the wifi was not free (even the cheapest places nearby have free wifi!). But the staff was super friendly and very helpful, and the shower had a lot of water and great water pressure (though the hot water didn't last long). Great bed, though under it was the dirtiest we have seen outside of India!

All in all, it's a classy joint, but the price is jacked up waaaaay too high. It felt a little but like a scam for foreigners who just don't know any better.
