“Pleasant stay with good view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2014

Was here for 2 weeks!

The view from the room was spectacular! I was on the 24 th floor. Do ask for the rooms with good views.. As they don't charge extra.

I think the wifi is chargeable which is ridiculous. ! But the lady at the reception was kind n I got it free!

Staff was courteous ! Helped me to get taxi when ever I wanted to !

I did not like their swimming pool and gym. But I wasn't interested so it did not matter!

Breakfast was good!
I have tried their indian restaurant the food is good but a la carte is expensive! 30 RM per pax min !

Renovation of lifts so I had to wait some times which s really sad !

Nearby very few hotels..! Monorail is just a min away !

20 min from KL sentral by monorail
15 min by taxi (10 RM)
1 hour by taxi from KLIA (90 RM)

First time i selected Grand Seasons, Sad to say, not a very good experience.
The male receptionist at counter was scolding another staff in front of hotel guest.
The checking in process took longer than expected as they were obviously busy with other guests. The checkin counter is not "big" enough to cater for big check ins and check outs.
It looks more like a very "busy" in out hotel rather than a decent stay. Too many tourist, too many people , too noisy.

Taking the lift was another chore. Understandable that other elevator was under upgrading renovation works, but taking a lift from 30th floor to lobby took 15 minutes, as it literally stop at least 8 times in between floors. Lift was

I have stayed in this hotel 3 years ago ,it was a decent hotel with good staff so I chose there a gain but it was a mistake.I am quite sure i stayed at least an hour waiting for the lifts to come cause only 2 of them were working!the breakfast had no variety and it was worse than a European B&B.The Doormen were very rude ,the only thing they didn't do was asking us directly for money!and believe me they would have got a tip if they did anything! We even took care of our luggage when we were checking in and out!The taxi concierge was taking us only blue taxi, which the price is at least 4 times than red ones!the location of the hotel is very bad nowadays,it is in the center of rubbers and beggars.I don't recommend staying in this hotel to any one any more!

Honestly the overall rate of Grand Season hotel is above normal.
It's big, clean, modern with big international restaurant & cafe and the free gym & swimming pool.
You can easily access the city's public transportation by just 3 minutes walking to chow kit monorail station.
Our just problem is no proper room for 3 persons, they add an extra bed beside two others.

We had stayed in this hotel for our 2 nights stay in Kuala Lumpur on Feb 2014 to be precise 17th and 18th Feb but had very pathetic experience. First of all being tallest hotel of KL it has only 2 lifts working.. And our room being at 13th floor we have to minimum wait for more than 15 minutes either to take us down to ground floor or vise versa.. 2ndly hotel does not have free WiFi for their guests even at the reception area... I was not able to get in touch to my family through video calling in those two days. On our check out day we had to literally call up reception area from the lobby for the lift to come up and take us down!!??!!... This was only left to do so..

Stayed here for 2 nights in Feb 2014. Location is quite good well connected with a walking distsncd from Mono Rail Staion "Chow Kit" which is 4 staions away from Bukit Bintan staion which is hub for all the shoppers.

The view from the room is amazing you can see the Petronas Twin Towers also.

The main problem I faced as my room was on a 26th floor and there were only 3 lifts which were working and had to wait for 10 15 mins for the lift to come.

Rooms is okay but bit old style.

Toilet is average with a old type of pot.

There is nice Indian club come bar at 11th floor which was good for the people wants to spend night life in hotel.

Over all a nice experience
