“9 Nights of Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

I ve just returned from 9 nights at the Westin, KL. The room was beautiful, large and spacious, spotlessly clean, with views of the Petronas Towers which are spectacular at night. The bed was probably the most comfortable i ve ever slept in and the room perfectly quiet 100% of the time. The bathroom had both a shower and bath which was great. Lots of toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers, plenty of towels that were changed every morning and evening. The breakfast buffet was amazing with so many choices !! Perfect location opposite teh pavillion shopping mall, and within walking distance of the Petronas Towers. But the one thing that makes the Westin special is the staff .... they are all so friendly and polite and really cant do enough for you. Thank you for a wonderful stay and hopefully we will be back in February.

We stayed at Westin annually and have always enjoyed the good sized rooms and facilities . The location was excellent for shopping and eating with Pavillion, Lot 10 , Sg Wang , Jalan Imbi within walking distance .
The hotel restaurants like QBA , Five Senses and Prego were excellent .

Myself and 3 girlfriends stayed 2 nights on our way through from Melbourne to Phuket purely to shop.
We arrived around 9am and were checked in quickly and efficiently. We were upgraded from deluxe rooms to executive club rooms.
Rooms are roomy, dean and comfortable.
Bathroom is huge with a nice shower and bath.

The beds are simply heaven and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.......I want their pillows.

Buffet breakfast is a must as you can eat up big and skip lunch before heading out for a nice dinner.

Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Always ready to carry Shopping bags, hand you an umbrella or just have a chat.

The bar downstairs is nice for a cocktail at the end of the day and to listen to the band.

My only negative comment. We put our 'Make up room' sign out at around 10am when we headed off shopping. When we returned to do a bag drop around 4 staff were only just getting to our rooms.
As we wanted a quick drink and rest this was a little inconvenient.

Free wifi is only available in the lobby or breakfast area.

We are back in KL in March 2014 and while no accommodation has been booked we will be staying at The Westin.

Room Tip: We were on level 34 and had a great view of the towers.

We thank you for your continuous support and happy to hear all of you had a great stay but most importantly our staff provided personal, instinctive and renewing experiences.

Meanwhile, please accept our apologies for not getting your room ready fast enough.

As for complimentary WiFi in the rooms, this remain as a paying service as in most hotels in Kuala Lumpur for now. We are looking into the possibility to see how this can be converted into a non profit making centre but please bear with us until we have come to a solution.

Look forward to welcoming you back in March next year.

Take care and be well

You cannot ask for a better location in KL. Right opposite Pavilion, walking distance from a number of shopping malls, and offers great views the higher up you stay. The hotel does nothing fancy, but meets all your expectations completely. The highlight was the service, and the breakfast buffet. The buffet had breath of options, tasted delicious. Absolutely recommended for people with sweet tooth. Service was impeccable too. For example, I had to take some urgent print outs at 1 am. The reception guy let me use their pc, and rushed himself to bring forward the printed sheets. This is just one of numerous examples. Great many thanks to Mandy - the manager in Westin for being so helpful.

The only thing that I didn't like was the pool.

Room Tip: Stay as high up as possible for the better views.

Pick this hotel at friend's recommendation. I am from KL, but decided to pamper myself for 2 days. Stayed in the executive floor. Was very happy with the service, comfy bed, good breakfast. Tried to be difficult and they handed it well :) haha.. I am bring my parents for a night or two.

The facilities were good and clean and the staff were all pleasant and helpful.
Close to all shopping precincts.

I enjoyed this hotel - location was stellar, service was strong, and they had a good gym. All in all, it was a good business hotel - nothing overly memorable about the hotel though beyond it's location. However, that's fine - it's not important for a business professional for the hotel to stand out. Try out the free shoe shine.
