“Good visit but one minor point ”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Just stayed again for a few days after a couple of years since I last stayed in the hotel. The lobby is modern and well designed after its refit. The rest of the hotel is starting to feel a bit dated by comparison.

The main issue I found was the incredible amount of starch in the bed sheets when you move around the bed sound like your sleeping in a plastic bag. By comparison I am in a Sheraton in Thailand and the sheets are beautifully smooth and comfortable.

I was on a short business trip to Kuala Lumpur on 27/4 to 29/4. I have selected Le Meridien for my 3 days business trip stay. The hotel is located at very central in KL. Accessible to public transport to everywhere. The hotel room is decent, spacious and staffs are helpful too. Early check-in is worked for me. The hotel's breakfast is good spread. Will definitely go back again to the same hotel in my next business trip to KL.

Room Tip: choose higher floor for better view of KL

Its location nearby the central station makes it easy to access from the airport KLIA.
There is also a nearby mall, for shopping, hairdresser, cigars etc and it is a 5 mn walk only.

The hotel is nice with a large lobby and a coffee/ bar there.
The welcome was good, the staff is dedicated to the customer and always polite.
The room was nice and comfortable, clean and free wifi access.
A nice stay!

It was a 12 night stay in Le Meridien at the starting of Apr, 2015. Early check-in worked for me, but as room having double bed was not ready, I was left to choose room with two single beds. After sleepless journey, I do not have patience to wait till the room (with double bed) gets ready, more over, reception could not confirm any specific time. Room size was good, clean and my room view was towards KL Sentral Railway Station. Best part of this hotel is the swimming pool, which I liked very much. Gym and Spa is shared with Hilton. Breakfast buffet was good and staffs very helpful. But the part of hotel i did not liked is dinner buffet. In dinner buffet, staffs were not at all responsible, i felt personally multiple times. Most of the time, they will not be serving water even after requesting the same. Food wise, if you want to spend same amount of money, go to buffet available in Hilton. It was really mouthwatering. Compared to that, Le Meridien buffet is really lagging. In Dessert counter there were many variety but taste was not good. Compared to buffet, having in-room dinner was better. You might try "Lamb Kofta" from in-room dinner menu if your taste is Asian.
Location wise, the hotel is in a premium location, any time you will get taxi (if needed). Gym was well equipped. Spa staffs were good.

Room Tip: Mu suggestion will be go for higher floor but inside view, as out side view is just concrete jungle

I need to make a very last minute booking & was contemplating to choose either Aloft or Le Meridien, whichever priced lower over the weekend. Luckily SPG Hot Escapes rates are there at almost 50% savings so i snagged it up, in fact its the lowest price i have ever seen for the deluxe room category, an absolute bargain considering this is a 5 star hotel.
As we all know the club floors and lounge was closed until July for renovations so the morning breakfast & evening meals for the club level patrons is held at Latest Recipe. For all day refreshment mini bar is complimentary. Their buffet dinner was a hit among locals, at 7pm people starts to pour in & filled up the tables. It can get pretty crowded, so do come early if you want to avoid all the commotions. I am impressed with the newly refreshed restaurant, and also some addition to the breakfast menu like the bottled caramel vanilla coffee. But i am also sad they don't provide nachos for breakfast anymore, only for lunch. i believe by having that nachos it makes LMKL breakfast spread easily stands out among all of the Starwood hotels in KL.
As a platinum member traveled solo, dont expect to get a suite update. Their best room currently is the premier room with separate shower/bath as suites are reserved for families/sale. Well i'm perfectly ok on that. Nevertheless i am happy to find a box of macaroons & a plate of apples on the table in the evening. Probably was placed when i was away. What a nice surprise, thank you so much!

Room Tip: Check out SPG Hot Escapes for last minute surprises.

Small, cosy and friendly. Reception allowed early check in without even commenting on it. Room was small but furnishing new and comfortable. Wonderful buffet in restaurant Latest Recipe. Great for travel to/from airport or around KL. Driving into hotel car park needs a careful eye on the arrow sign, however. Management should check that out
