“First visit, which won't be our last!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2012 via mobile

We stayed 3 nights as a stopover between Australia and London. We chose an Executive Club room and were upgraded to a suite, and this was excellent in every way. Huge sitting area and a vast bedroom, as well as bathroom with all the usual amenities plus an additional cloakroom. The staff were marvellous - friendly and incredibly efficient - and the Executive club facilities were first class. Pool and gym are also first class. Good location for shopping, Chinatown is about 25 mins walk away and a taxi is probably a good idea when you return, at least - you'll be laden!

I only spent 2 nights at this Hotel, but would have been very happy to stay longer!
Great location if you are on holiday and want to run around. I think is the best positioned Hotel in the Golden Triangle.

Shopping Malls, restaurants and night life all just outside the Hotel.

I found housekeeping a bit weak!
All staff very prrofessional and attentive even though....i came across one particular receptionist that was not too cleaver on handling my comments abouth the lack of wireless facilities in the Hotel!

Breakfast is ok, not very appealing for Europeans I suppose as they serve lods of traditional and indian spicy food !
Overall....I would definetely stay again! :)

Definitely enjoyed my stay at the Grand Millennium KL. It was my first stay at this property and probably not the last.
I stayed in a Deluxe Room which included breakfast. My request for higher floor and smoking room was granted at time of check-in from a very friendly staff member.
It is nice that there are still some hotels which cater for smokers. Although I am only a social smoker I do appreciate very much to be able to smoke a cigar when I feel to do so. The hotel features Bistro 160 where smokers find a separated area which not as at many other places is less attractive or less comfortable than the non-smoking section. In contrary, the smoking section felt more pleasant than the non-smoking section and it featured a great selection of cigars.
Thumbs up for that to the Grand Millennium KL!
Breakfast is served at The Mill Restaurant. Selection was good, but there is space for improvement.
The hotel features a nice outdoor pool and a great Gym.
Best of all staying at the Grand Millennium is the location. You walk out and are in the center of KL's shopping district. The Pavilion shopping center is just next door, which features a marvelous food court.
Only two negatives in my opinion. The hotel does not feature free WIFI in the rooms nor in the public areas of the property. And TV channel selection is poor. I am sure this is no big deal for many, but it should be easily fixed.

My wife and I are regulars at this hotel, always staying en route to Europe, and continue to have nothing but praise for the place and we would not stay anywhere else in KL. The staff are outstanding as is the Club. The rooms are gradually being refurbished. Stay there - you will not be disappointed by location, price, and ambience. And we travel a lot!

All staff were very helpful, from the lady at check in to the concierge. We had two rooms on the executive(club) level and found all the amenities to be very good, wifi access, breakfast, per dinner drinks etc were all available in the exutive lounge.
The pool and fitness room are to a good standard for a hotel in the middle of KL

Great location, right bang in city centre. Reasonably priced and well worth the visit. Very close to Pavillion Mall/Jarran Arro night market street as well so couldn't have asked for more

Room Tip: ask for a non-smoking room if you don't like the smell
