All over the map; if you're lucky, you'd get someone knowledgeable who can actually help you efficiently. Most of the front desk staffers handled routine tasks well, but anything out of the ordinary wasn't handled efficiently.
Had a regular room on the 5th floor. Fairly basic, no decorative touches.
Bed was hard (as is the case all over SE Asia).
No wifi, just an ethernet cable, meaning one had to sit at the desk to use a laptop, and couldn't use a mobile device.
Bathroom was a good size, with separate shower and bathtub. Good water pressure. Decent toiletries.
TV had very few channels. Read a book instead.
Terrible. No towels in the room. When I asked for them to be brought up, I got one towel. Asked for more and the person on the phone asked why one person would need more - that was rude! Eventually got a hand towel, etc.
No safe, they brought that up as well at some point.
Toiletries were not replenished. I got lots of soap bars, but tissues, q-tips, etc. were never replenished.
Excellent location near a couple of popular malls. Turn right as you exit the hotel, that's where all the restaurants, etc. are.
The buffet breakfast and lunch were generally excellent. Spent 5 days there, and did not get tired of breakfast.
Not bad. Reasonably comfortable lobby with spotty wifi. Elevators were really slow. One had to plan for a possible 10 minute wait to get to and from the lobby.
Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. But it's not a bad place if you get a good price.
