“Perfect Budget Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Friendly staff and allowed for an early check in. Room was clean and not too bad on the size. Didn't provide much in the way of shampoo or soap but for the money you can't beat the location, the security and the sound sleep it will provide.

Also I loved the fact the hotel is a completely non-smoking hotel.

Highly recommend it if you're looking for a no frills, clean, safe place in a great location.

Located in a tourist spot where you can have easy access to Chinatown and Central Market in less than 05 Min walk. The Free Shuttle Bus - GO KL stop right in front the hotel entrance will bring you to Bukit Bintang - a shopping heaven in KL or you can walk to the Shuttle bus station which is next to the Central Market. It's up to you whether to travel by bus or LRT.

Basically this hotel provides a nice and clean room to accommodate you during your trip in KL, and I think the Standard Room is just nice for two person. Free weefee (WIFI) was provided in the room and business center at no charge (unlike other hotel that sucked your money even you request to use it for less than minute). I like it and definitely will recommend other travelers to stay here if you don't expect for a 5-star reception with big wide smile during Check-in.

It was a challenge booking a reasonably priced hotel in KL. We were able to hit most of our requirements with the Geo without breaking the bank.

The room was very basic - small, no amenities like free bottled water, refrigerator, hair dryer or most disappointing, a room safe. Free safety deposit boxes in the lobby made an acceptable, but inconvenient alternative. The tiny bathroom provided a shower curtain, but it proved too short to stop the floor from being soaked.

The lobby breakfast area was bright and functional but with no charm, and the buffet offerings not very enjoyable. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

We were pleased that the elevators, activated with our room card, would only permit access to our floor. The hotel location was also a plus - almost beside the monorail transit station and very close to Central Market - an enjoyable shopping and eating venue. Chinatown is also close by, but a quick trip there was enough for us.

We stayed at Geo hotel 1 night at march 20, the hotel location is really perfect, just beside pasar seni station, you just need to walk around 20 meter. And if you plan to go to batu caves, you just need to walk to old kuala lumpur station around 7 minutes from the hotel. And to go to china town you just need to walk 3 minutes. The room is very nice include the bath room, we don't have any complaint about this, the air condition is perfect cold too since KL is so hot. we can't review about the breakfast since we just booked the room only, but you can easily find nice breakfast around the hotel, even the food court at the pasar sentral kuala lumpur(just 2 minutes walk) have alot of good food or you can just go to china town. the staff are nice, when we ask for the higher room, they gave us at level 8, so we don't hear any noise when we stayed there.

Room Tip: please ask for the higher level

This hotel is the nearest hotel from the station. We can use two stations, so we don't need to go to KL sentral. There is the free bus station at the front of this hotel. That bus is perpul line to buggi bintan.Very good hotel for sigh seen,we can easly go to KLCC,needing change buggi bintan.
But Breakfast of gland floor was very expensive,so I had to go to china town. And amenity goods is only towel, shampoo.

The location of this hotel is quite good. Near the taxi's, shopping mall and chinatown.
The restaurant is average. The staff are nice.
The rooms are good with a nice bathroom and tv.
Nothing to complain about.

Ok will keep this short & perhaps not so sweet.
This is an ok hotel if u are travelling solo or as a couple...but please dont travel here with a baby, luggage and a pram (my bad for choosing this hotel). Yes the walls are thin, the staff unfortunately dont speak much English and as I had a baby and pram not even a door was opened for me as I entered OR exited to hotel lobby, not once!! The breakfast is barely there and the rooms very cramped especially with a cot. The level of customer service was hot and cold...? The kitchen downstairs makes a great club sandwich and the room service I have to say was delicious :)
Upon leaving I was over charged for my room rate of 1.5 days...when i tried to explain this to the staff on duty, they found this a complicated issue to deal with...complicated how?? They just thought they were correct, no matter how much I tried to explain to them their error..ahhhh!!! Then they were quite relieved when a certain manager took over (thankfully) to address this issue. Someone needs to take control in the reception/check in area, who are NOT afraid to make decisions...
I would not stay here again as I have been to KL many, many times and there REALLY are better places to stay if you pay a little extra..but hey if yr going solo or as a couple and dont mind the small rooms and want to save $$$ then enjoy...!
