“hotel does not allow guest to bring in females who are not guests after 10pm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

very good location walkign distance from all the major shopping centers.. pavillion etc etc etc, hotel also have taxi service to airport at an acceptable rate, room are so-so , toilet is quite dark

also another good thing is that the hotel staff does not allow you to bring non female guests in after 10pm, you gotta ''register'' your female friend/partner with the hotel at checkin or else they might think you picked up some random girl on the streets and they will kick her/or you both out after their curfew hours

Yea yea perfect location, walking distance to Pavilion, H&M bla bla bla..... WHATEVER!!!! They DARE TO KICK OUT me and my friends, 18 years old, teenage girls, when it was already almost midnight, with nowhere to go. Ok we broke the hotel policy but have a heart man.... At least let us stay for one night thennnn you can kick us out the next day. But heck the staff/receptionist didn't even look concerned of our welfare we're just students, good friends checking in to a budget hotel, having a sleepover we longed plan since we arrived in KL, spend time with each other after such a long time. We are MALAYSIANS!!!! Heck where's the value in that?? What the world has turned into, Malaysians especially, just makes me sad, my faith in humanity just.... I can't even..... It's all about money money money. The hotel itself was ok, room's ok, bathroom's ok, but the HEART and SINCERITY to actually manage a hotel, the aim of building a hotel in the first place, to welcome guests, put a roof above their heads, provide them with shelter, a temporary home for some of us, does not exist. We barely spent a night there and they took 2/3 of our money saying it was penalty. =_= And you guys should see the look on the face of the manager when he savagely kicked us out shamelessly and without guilt or any speck of concern on his face but nooooo..... He is a bully. He won over a bunch of broke, homeless and helpless girls. Congratulations. You deserve a standing ovation manager of Ambassador Hotel. Ambassador lah sangat. Bad bad bad example of hotel management. Bad example of a human being more like it. But it's your choice really fellow hotel-bookers. If you're with me in this, you will not choose to book and stay at this hotel. You will look for other hotels with better and more humane staff, who'll assist you in any way they could. If you're not, well then, sorry to say this but maybe you're as much of a bully or as cold-hearted as the manager/owner. Thank you for reading, Cheers!

Perfect location for shopping as all the big shopping mall are available on walking distance.. The staffs gave their service with smile and attentive to your request. I found it quite a challenge to find a hotel who want to keep our belonging when we need to travel out of KL for a short while, but this hotel can assist us with no extra payment required!! i insist on paying the bill a day in advance and decided to stay longer right that minute. The family room is spacious, facing the city centre so my little cousin was enjoying the view of monorail right from our window whenever it arrives.. It's an exciting experience to stay right in the middle of city centre with a city centre view! with all the noises and busy people, we found it quite enjoyable just to stay in our room, with coffee and doughnut in hand and watching people struggling with their shopping bags.. The room amenities are great, big flat tv with variety of channels, big build in cupboard, mini bar, and the most necessary is the coffee/tea maker! toilet is slightly small but it has the necessary amenities that we need. Towels are a bit tired as well as the pillows but overall the room is in clean and quite good condition. We enjoyed staying in this hotel and certainly will stay there again when we visit KL either for shopping or just watching people shopping.

Room Tip: family room is facing the main road, its noisy but it has the happening view.

Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean especially the bathroom.
Amenities were basic and the electric kettle was not working.
The food and the cafe for breakfast which was included in the room rate was lacking though we did not expect much.

Room Tip: contact the hotel staff to make sure you are getting what you expect.

Every shopping mall is at a walking distance, which is great. That, and everything just went downhill. The air-conditioner wasn't able to cool the room despite its small size! We can actually sleep without our blankets at night, and sweat during the afternoon. Luckily, we can get out of the room and went to the malls. There are cockroaches and bed bugs too! One of the lamps in the bathrooms was not functioning, but it didn't bug us much. The breakfast included was sooo cheap. Not gonna recommend this place to anyone. At this price, you can get better hotels around Bukit Bintang

the hotel is located in the bukit bintang area. it is only 5 min walk to bukit bintang monorail and lot 10 shopping center is just across the street. if you turn left from the hotel and walk for about 100 m you will find the modern shopping mall 'pavillion'. pizza hut and indonesian restaurant 'sari ratu' are in the right side of the hotel. the room is small but it was clean. the bathroom was also clean. the hotel provides tea coffee making facilities so it is convenient for us to have coffee in the room. the staff are nice and helpful. it is cheaper to book the room directly to the hotel's website rather than through the agency. it is better if you check the price before you make reservation.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are large and sunny

Good location, right in the middle of bukit bintang shopping area.

We stayed in the family room facing the main street, the room wasn't completely soundproof so you could hear all the cars honking, not suitable if you're looking for a good night sleep.

Bathroom was clean and nice, but the window couldn't be closed completely.

Bed sheets & quilt covers were dirty, maybe they didn't change them for every customer??

Window curtain looked old & dirty.

The staffs were nice and helpful. I don't mind to stay there again
