My sis and I stayed 3D2N at this hotel, and it was one great experience. The location was very strategic (of short distance to major shopping malls in town), for the great offer price that we payed. However, the area is a bit dodgy to roam around freely at night, and better to take a cab if wanna travel about in the evening.

Despite some of the delays caused during checking in, all in all, the hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. They would go all way out to help us solve our problems (for example printing out our boarding passes for our flight tickets and bus tickets, and even arranging for a take-away breakfast, cos we're checking-out very early the next morning).

The room was spacious (we had an executive room with one separate living room and bedroom) and had all facilities as stated on website. It was clean and comfortable. Would definitely come here again or recommend it to friends and families.

We chose the Furama Bukit Bintang in KL based on the room price and location and were not at all disappointed. It is located well within walking distance of the monorail station and shopping centre. The staff were courteous, friendly and efficient and requests were attended to promptly. One staff member stood out above the rest - Mr Omar Fashah who was extremely helpful, over and beyond his call of duty. We will definitely stay here again in future.

Nice new hotel right behind Berjaya Times Square. I stayed for two nights in a Superior Room on the 17th floor. Everything is new in the hotel, which is fantastic.

My room on the 17th floor has a city view that is blocked by the mammoth Berjaya Times Square complex. I could only see the peak of the twin towers. You probably want to pay for a Deluxe Room which are on higher floors. Maybe there's better view up there.

The water pressure for the room's shower (there's no bath tub) is too low. I understand wanting to be "Green" about it, but the extreme low pressure is unacceptable. I had a tough time rinsing my short hair.

There are two upper levels car park facility but both were not ready. I parked in the basement car park instead, which was construction dusty and semi-ready. It's well patrolled and secured though.

Buffet breakfast is decently good.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. I see security guards everywhere which is reassuring.

I'd go back again.

Oh..., it seems the old Furama Hotel was in Petaling Street, aka, Chinatown (I think it's now the 5 Elements Hotel.) Not all taxi drivers know about the new Furama Bukit Bintang. Be sure to highlight it's behind Times Square or you'll end up in Chinatown!

Room Tip: Book for a Deluxe Room for nicer Petronas Twin Tower view.

We got an internet deal for this recently opened hotel and we just paid 50 eruos/night including a great breakfast buffet. Rooms are huge and with all the amenities: coffe maker, minibar, ioring kit, etc. Everything is new so there was a little pipe's smell, that was the only bad thing to say. Great bathroom (just shower). You have a huge mall just in front, The neighbourhood is chinese and is not very smart, but just cross two streets and you'll be in Times Square. Also there's a convenient Seven eleven 24h in front of the hotel and a monoirail train stop in Times Square mall. Staff is friendly and helpfull. I would recommend and come back to this hotel.

This is a really good hotel I would definitely consider staying at if I visit KL again. The only problem I encountered was that the reservations messed up the type of rooms I booked and gave me 2 Twins instead of 1 King and 1 Twin. I literally had to go back to the lobby 3 times to sort it out and it was very tiring and frustrating. The saving grace was that the staff was apologetic and tried to offer options to be able to provide the room type required. Other than this glitch, it was a good stay and I will recommend this hotel.

Pros:
- the lobby is grand and spacious with a lounge bar near the entrance allowing you to relax while waiting for companions or your room
- very helpful and polite staff who goes out of their way to help. Even with late night requests or last minute arrangements, they are willing to take care of things for you
- the rooms we got were spacious allowing for a comfortable stay even if you want to eat in as there is a separate sitting area with TV (aside from the one in the bedroom)
- bed and pillows are very comfortable you'd be tempted to stay in
- good variety for breakfast and food was really good
- the pool, although small, is very inviting because of the good ambience
- gym was okay
- there is a 711, a 24 hour foodcourt, and restaurants at both the front and back side of the hotel
- the hotel is new so everything is clean and feels new
- good view of the KL Tower at night

Cons:
- there is a bit of construction so the surrounding area may seem a bit dodgy at night
- it is not within the heart of Bukit Bintang so you might want to take a cab or walk (right behind Berjaya though so not a bad area at all)
- menu for room service has too few selections
- the internet connection doesn't seem to work late at night so might be a problem if you're on a business trip and have conference calls on different time zones. By the way, they use LAN connection, not wi-fi (not big of a deal for me though)
- the late night/early morning receptionist on duty seems to be clueless and is not able to speak English very well so this can be frustrating for some guests trying to sort things such as charges and stuff
- no porter decked during early morning so no help available for luggage

They had some good "launch prices" which swayed my choice for this one. For me I hate the big hotels near the KLCC shopping center as shopping in KL is about finding stuff away from the international labels. This hotel is in the heart of Chinatown (not the Chinatown market!). Breakfast was good but they need to be more attentive at the coffee station as many guests were asking for refills.

Oh by the way great conciege.
