“new property with a great roof top pool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2012

First time stay in this service suites, it was awesome, great, not too much and perfect!
the room are newly designed, love the kitchenette with a little details of tools provided. Staffs are helpful with a cheerful manner. Location 15 mins to attractions and shopping districts. night entertainment are around the corner, if you like to dine for supper, many eateries are opens around this area as of now this property only have 1 F&B are which for breakfast. I will definitely come back, hopefully more F&B options or In Room Dining are available by then.

We had booked two suites during our stay for 2 nights. The suites were very well-furnished and cosy. Everything looked spanking brand-new and well-maintained. Service was excellent. My family enjoyed their stay. It is ideally located near the major shopping mails and eatery.

The suites are very clean, spacious and are conveniently located about 10 mins walk from all major malls. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast area is seriously undersized for the number of guests so arrive early. Breakfast is good although tends to run out with the number of guests. Plan ahead at breakfast: if you need a knife and fork for the next course and you see a knife and fork in the basket, take it immediately as there may not be any left when you need them. To overcome the space problem at breakfast, there is a grill away from the breakfast area where you can ask for omlettes, fried egs, etc, but many guests are not aware of this.
We stayed on the 29th floor over New Year and from the two bedroom corner units there was a fantastic view of the fireworks. Unfortunately, the pool on the roof, 31st floor, had been booked out for a private party so the sound of dancing and revelling came loudly into our apartment into the early hours.
There are two swimming pool sin the apartments and both have a policy of no children under the age of 18 years under any circumstances - in a family oriented apartment! Fortunately neither of the pools are staffed and this ridiculous policy is disregarded by guests with children.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Park Royal suites in KL. Ideal location for Food alley (Jalan Alor) and for getting around the city to BB Plaza and Bukit Bintang.

The studio was extremly spacious with all the mod cons, had 2 lovely pools and a very adequate breakfast.

Tourists please be aware that taxi's from outside the hotel are extremly expensive! Take a walk and flag one down!

It would be a no brainer if i was to return to KL, it was just ideal.

Happy Travelling!

as it is a serviced suite, the rooms are very big. it has all the essential amenities except in-room minibar. Place is clean and well maintained. There are two pools, and the gym is fairly well equipped (considering it is a small one). The 4 lifts servicing the all 30 floors can get busy during breakfast time (some waiting required). Staff is ok, however not as attentive as what you'd get at say, the marriott. Concierge calls the blue cab which is nicer, runs on meter, and tends to be more expensive. You could catch a local cab from the street (cheaper, older cars). Wifi is free, but somewhat slow.

I arrived late in the evening feeling very tired. The Reception staff were pleasant and efficient when booking me into my room on the 27th floor. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely, spacious studio room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The large flat screen TV and DVD player were very useful as I went shopping the next day and purchased a number of DVD movies to watch.

There is a choice of two sparkling pools, steam rooms and saunas. All were very well maintained.

The location was quiet but within walking distance of shopping centres and the monorail stations were also very close to the suites.

Breakfast in the lobby was nice and convenient with a reasonable variety of food. I like my eggs in the morning and I wasn't disappointed by the choice. The staff here appeared disinterested and not particularly helpful.

Unfortunately, I had my bag snatched and lost my phone and camera, otherwise I would have added a couple of photos.

I would be happy to recommend the Park Royal Serviced Suites to family and friends.

Room Tip: The Studio Room has plenty of space for a couple.

Have made a booking in advance for a nights stay to ring in the New Year and was overjoyed at first to learn that the rate is reasonable and that there were rooms available. Plans have been made and during the morning of intended check in, a staff called to inform me of burst pipes in the building and that they have made reservations for me to stay at the Micasa instead. Adding to my disappointment, there were friends that also made bookings but were not bumped. Further rubbing salt to the wound was the fact that the room at Micasa was not the 2 single beds i requested and it doesn't even have a pool view. No written explanation was sent to me, but the reservation staff, Mel was helpful. Was left wondering why did I make the booking if I was not able to experience the party scene at Changkat Bukit Bintang but was thrown to a remote hotel tucked in a corner in town. Thanks but no thanks for completely ruining my New Year's plans.
