“Nice staff. Good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012 via mobile

Real nice, simple place. It's a great part of town, a little noisy, but considering what is nearby it is worth it. Great restaurants, street life, and easy acces to other attractions around KL. It is a great place for family and enjoyable for everyone. Staff was excellent and I'd consider again

Stayed for two nights in September. Beautiful little hotel, although the lack of windows was a bit strange, we soon got used to it. Rooms were a good size, bed was comfy, very clean and well kept. Good location and we were not disturbed by any noise at all (Although we did keep the air con on which drowns out any noise). 4 poster bed was a lovely touch! They also operate their own day trips/tours which we found useful.

Small quaint hotel located next to many hawker food stalls, hop-on-hop-off bus ( opposite the hotel), and minutes away from bukit bintang shopping. It is also near many bars with a great night life. You can easily walk from the hotel to the Petronas towers. Our room was located on the ground floor (Room 101). It was a comfortable stay with good breakfast. The only thing that I would suggest is that the shower have some kind of door or something. Not a big issue but the water can potentially go all over the bathroom floor as it an open concept shower. The private transport from the hotel to airport was reliable. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel then stay at Anggun. Overall, a great stay with a central location.

Love the unique decor of this boutique hotel. Room was very clean and spacious plus they have free wifi which I think is very useful when traveling. Breakfast wasn't that great but there are lots of places to eat at around the area so this was not really a concern.
My only complaint is the noise. We stayed on a 3rd floor room and we could hear the scraping of the chairs from the roofdeck restaurant. We could also hear the noise from the cars, motorcycles, buses, etc. outside. This is quite annoying when you're woken by this in the wee hours of the morning. I wouldn't mind the noise if this was a 3-star hotel but the rooms are a bit pricey so I was expecting more from them.
Overall, I wouldn't stay in this hotel again only because of the noise.

Extremely helpful staff. The location is great, near shopping, food and the Hop on, Hop off bus. Our double room was a good size, the AC worked great and the room was very clean and nicely decorated. Our third floor room was slightly noisy during the day due to construction in a nearby lot, but it was quiet at night. Some of our party complained about noise from scraping chairs from the restaurant above, but our room didn't have the problem as the kitchen was above us.

This boutique hotel was fabulous and cannot prsie the staff better. They wwere extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very neat, clean very well presented and furnishings ideal.
Internet TV/PC in the rooms, the bathroom was well fitted and clean, breakfast is available and a good restaurant is on the roof. Elevators made things easier also. Will make this hotel my hotel of choice each time I am in K.L.

Room Tip: The upper floors dont suffer from much road noise. Elevators make it easy to get to and from the upp...

The good
The staffs are courteous and pleasant, people are friendly here.
Location - near food and shopping, within walking distance to Bukit Bintang, good location for amenities.
I took the Anggun suite with a balcony, rooms are large with a nice toilet (Shower stall)
Breakfast was delightful - ordered a la minute with a serving of juice, portion fresh fruits and coffee/tea
The decor is ethnic, welcoming and pleasantly comfortable. Looking old but functional, cozy and quaint feeling. A nice residence from the run of mill hotels in KL. Its a unique boutique property which is quite a rarity in KL I would say. A nice place to chill out and relax for the weekend yet be near to amenities.

The not so good!
Noisy due to proximity to the busy road, honking can be heard, but once you get past that its acceptable.

Overall a nice small boutique hotel for a weekend break. Popular among foreign visitors but not so with the locals.
