The food served here is as expected from a "kopi tiam". You can get everything from roti Kaya to nasi lemak. Taste , is average but acceptable.
If you are a local coffee buff, then this place is for you. They carry 14 different local coffee varieties from all over Malaysia. It is served in the mandatory old fashioned cups, with the ceramic Chinese spoon. The condensed milk is left unstirred at the bottom of the cup and it is served at the right temprature. Try the"Hang Tuah"and the"Tupai"coffees. It also comes with 2 pieces of Osborne biscuits as a palate cleanser. In the northern states, this biscuit is referred to as "biskut kapai" which means ships biscuits as it was a staple for the sailors of days gone by. This review is on the Publika Solaris branch. The downside of this branch is that it isn't airconditiond, so it feels humid after 9 am. Remedy: have your kopi before 9 am !
