We have family in Albemarle NC and have stayed in nearby hotels but were never impressed. We got a good last minute deal at the Holiday Inn Express but weren't expecting much. However we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was quick and professional. They even hand delivered a razor and shaving cream to our room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Also, the complimentary breakfast in the morning saved us money and the cinnamon buns were delicious! Would definitely stay again!
