“not bad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

The room was quite large with small bathroom. Everything is good, clean with air purifier. Standard Breakfast, but the taste not bad. The outside view from our room is a lil bit dissapointed. Just can see other building around the hotel.

A very friendly hotel which caters mainly for large tour groups, so if you stay here be prepared to put up with a lot of hustle & bustle in the lobby every day. The room was on the16th Floor quite large and spacious but that could not be said for the plastic moulded bathroom typically Japanese style. However the room had good views into horizon and overlooking the river and Osaka city.
Restaurant on 1F for western lunch not good. Whilst serving serving myself to soup etc my beef steak main course was already sitting on my table going cold as they serve other course at the same time. Not too impressed. The 3F Japanese restaurant serves good food but if like me you do not like people smoking then ask for a table in the none smothing rooms. Front office staff very helpful. Room rates acceptable but just a little on the high side. Hotel only 5-10 mins from Juso Hanku line station. Plenty of eating places in the area plus lots of drinking and night bars.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location - quite in the heart of the city with alot of hustle and bustle around . There's also a 'Donkey store' around the corner where you get just about anything you're looking for . It tax free , so cheaper than other places . The hotel rooms are average . Breakfast too . But I guess good by Japanese standards .

Pros: Room was comfortable, basic and the bed was pretty good as Japanese hotels go. Near the Hankyu Juso train station (7 min walk). Near lots of food and restaurants
Cons: Seemed a bit over priced. The building is a bit dated, but that's life I suppose. It was strange that the refrigerator was in the closet along with an electric burner and sink, and this meant we really didn't have closet space. Strange really, but we liked having a refrigerator so not such a big deal.

Room Tip: Select the upper floors.

This was the 4th and last hotel our family stayed in during our road trip through western Honshu and Kansai. We had two adjacent rooms on the 5th floor. The rooms were a decent size, especially by Japanese standards, but the views were disappointing: other surrounding hotels, with a glimpse of the river between buildings. Inside, the hotel showed signs of being past its prime: dated furniture in the rooms and tacky white marble counters in the lobby. Also, the hotel was advertised as having a pool, but it turns out that it belongs to the Gold's Gym on the 2nd floor and you have to pay extra to use the pool and children under 16 cannot go in, even with an adult accompanying--our kids were disappointed. When I paid for parking, the concierge pulled out a battered metal cash box. Parking was a hassle: not included with the price and then difficult to negotiate with the attendant in the basement garage, as he wanted not only the hotel's parking receipt but some ticket thing. Even then, they grudgingly allowed us to use one of the larger spaces for our crossover SUV. Overall, the hotel gave the impression of a formerly nice hotel that is ageing and declining to be average.

Hi
I was in this hotel 2 weeks ago. The hotel is situated close to Jumbo station. Unfortunately it is private metro station ( it costs 150 YEN from Umeda). So if you have public subway ticket, choose other hotel. Apart from that I liked the hotel. Rooms are quite big. In toilet you have conditioner, shampoo, face wash and body soap. So it's plenty to choose. There's a wifi in rooms and you can use a computer and free printer next to reception. Highly recommmebded

A very friendly, comfortable Hotel. Room was good with a small bathroom as usual for Japan , but well appointed and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly.Close to food courts, bars, shops and Juso station. Quiet area easily accessible by the train. I would recommend as a good place to stay unless you needed to be in the centre of the city.

Room Tip: Ask for the higher floor/ non smoking
