I decided to stay with the Hyatt brand of hotels when arranging my trip in Osaka. Whilst I wasn't disappointed in the usual high standards of Hyatt hotels, I was disappointed in its location. It is in the middle of nowhere! It's is positioned near the coast, but next to the docks. There is not really much to see or do around the hotel.
However, if you want a well equipped, clean hotel with a high standard of restaurants and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Osaka then this hotel is ideal.

I dont know why I decided to Stay here, its an 40-50 Minutes Drive from the JR Station where all the Underground Shopping Markets are and from the other attractions of Osaka. Although the Hotel provides a Free Shuttle to the JR Station and you can Take a Subway/Metro also from nearest Rail Station but again you would be wasting a Lot of time if you stay here.
Better pay a bit more Money and Stay in the City.
Over Looks the Bay Area, Nice Views from the Rooms. Comfortable Room with all amenities.

Overall Its aGood property for Business people, but Tourist can find better options.

Stayed here for a night only. The atmosphere and room amenities etc clearly indicated that this is an International standard hotel (Hyatt standard) but with strong Japanese touch. We had no complaints what so ever for the room and service quality. Breakfast was terrific. Besides Japanese menu offered, we can also enjoy their International buffet. A highly recommended hotel.

Hyatt Osaka is located quite far away from town. The best way to travel to city is to take shuttle bus. The service is free of charge and there are about 3 routing, running every half an hour. Last shuttle from town back to the hotel is at approx 22:00. If you miss the last shuttle, taxi cost would be a fortune.

Apart from bad location, everything in the hotel is perfect. Friendly staffs with good command in English. Massive size of the room (I think i could even sleep in the closet). Bathroom is about the same size of bedroom in some city hotel.

There is a sky lounge which is worth a visit. Pricy but offer a good view. Food served in Italian restautrant was just so so. Unfortunately, i had to rush out in the morning and missed the big breakfast.

If you need to go out a lot, there are some other luxury hotels in town. But if you have time to spend in the hotel, i would really recommend this place.

Booked a couple of rooms for one night in one of their club rooms. The rooms were clean and par for the course for Japan at this hotel level. Also received great service from the front desk staff, the complimentary grapes and mineral water in the rooms was a nice touch.

The location is out by the harbor with nothing around but they have shuttle service to the Osaka Station and the local trainstop so not a big deal if you just hop on a train.

The lounge was a little small but decent.

Room Tip: Getting a club room gives you free breakfast and lounge access (think free snacks and drinks anytime...

Staff at front desk can speak very decent English and they are very helpful. Requests were made late at night for dinner reservations at external restaurants (i.e. outside the hotel). As the restaurants were already closed, the hotel staff took our order and helped us to book the next morning while we traveled around the city. When we got back to the hotel, we received the booking note, together with a printed google map, stating the address of the desired restaurant in both English and Japanese. Impressed.

Rooms are huge (especially from a Japanese hotel standard), very clean with comfortable beds. Best is free wi-fi inside room with excellent connection. The only drawback is its location - which is quite far away from both the airport and city-center. To solve this issue, there is complimentary shuttle bus service, running back and forth between the hotel and Osaka station (Umeda) every half an hour, from 9 am till 10 pm.
