I do travel alot, let me start with that. My company pays for my hotels, but I know this place is expensive. The room. as a previous posted noted are a nice size by japaneze standards and I found the bed to be very comfortable. i have access to the exec lounge and was disappointed with the food choices for breakfast and happy hour. the only thing recognizable to me was scrambled eggs but even those were so watery i have my doubts. canapes in the evening are Japaneze surprizes. The exec lounge would not allow me to take a glass of juice out of the lounge. Having been in Japan a week, I was craving a nice burger. I walked out of the hotel a block and found an outback steakhouse. the location of this hotel has everything one would need around it.
As another previous posted noted, you must operate the button inside the door ifyou want the room made up and/or not to be disturbed. Housekeeping was in my room within 5 minutes of me turning on the make up room button.
Fitness center is okay. I did work out, but didn't feel comfortable swimming. I am a female with a tattoo and I know the japaneze frown on tattoos. There were only men in the fitness center when I was there and only Japaneze men in the pool. So although I won't give up my workouts, I passed on the pool. Although its pouring today and I would love a swim.
I thought I had no english TV, because even CNN and BBC was being voiced over in Japaneze, but I researched the TV instructions and found a bilingual buttom to inactive that voice over. So I did have about four stations in enlighs. Two news, discovery and a movie channel.
Overall, I guess its an okay hotel. But I'll seek out a marriott next time.
