What a fantastic spot! Directly above a department store in downtown Osaka, and also above Namba Nankai Station which goes directly to and from the airport. Staff were fantastic, especially the concierge desk who went to the 'nth' degree to provide us with a solution to every question we had. They also recommended some great izakayas in which to eat at which were first class. The room was great and the bed was absolutely enormous and being on the 30th floor gave us a great view over Osaka. We were minutes away from all the action of Dotombori and I would not hesitate to stay there agin if in Osaka. Highly Recommended!

Hi, stayed here for 4 days in May. Very handy being located within the downtown area of Osaka and attached to a subway station and shopping complex. Shin-Osaka is 8(?) stops on the subway away from Namba station. Heaps of places to eat and a short walk to Dotdomburi (sorry for the spelling). Room was clean and of good size and the staff very helpful. Went upstairs to their tepanyaki restaurant which was great as well - not hungry afterwards that's for sure.

Very well situated hotel, with the station below and Namba Park beside the hotel. Due to illness, I had to be hospitalised and a staff member accompanied me for the whole time I was there. Afterwards, staff were all aware of the situation and watchful and exceptionally helpful. Only negative was internet charge.

I have just enjoyed 7 nights at this hotel. Initial decision to choose the Swissotel was based on Tripadvisor feedback - and this was subsequently found to be very accurate. Firstly hotel has direct access via the airport train being at the final stop Namba - simply exit the station platform and signs clearly show the 1 minute walk to the hotel - easy! Second big plus is that location is right above the subway station making access to the entire city simple! Hotel is right in the middle of the major Namba district meaning that department stores, restaurants, 24 hour convenience stores as well as shopping are literally right on your doorstep - location certainly ticks all the boxes.

Swissotel staff were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble (even suggested we attend a local Osaka Buffaloes baseball game which was an absolute blast)! Room was immaculately clean and even the toilet seat was heated (she thought this a bonus)! Having been lucky enough to have travelled extensively throughout Asia, the Swissotel Osaka was surprisingly good value for money!
