“Silent Nights.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

We really enjoyed our stay at the APA Namba as the location was great we were less that a five minute walk to Dotonbori, around a ten minute walk to Shinsaibashi and a two minute walk to Namba underground shopping. The staff were great, enthusiastic and spoke English well. We had a good room which could be considered small in some people's opinion but we knew what to expect and tend to travel light. People with many items of luggage may find the rooms to be rather cramped. The bed was really comfortable and it was a full sized double rather than the usual semi double rubbish than you tend to get in Japan. The room was clean and warm and we had those cool Japanese toilets in the bathroom. Our only gripe was that the tea bags were never thrown out of the holder or replenished. We would stay again if we visit the lovely Osaka again.

Just a few blocks away from all of the busy stuff in Dotonborii, this is a nice hotel to explore the area. The rooms aren't spacious, but it is Japan and the location is really great. You can walk to all shopping and restaurants and sights and sounds very easily. Just a short hike from Namab station as well, which is a bonus.

Stayed here for a night. Standard business hotel, but one of the newer ones. Hotel is located quite close to Namba station. Rooms are small, though that is standard for Japanese business hotels. Breakfast is quite decent, though not much of a spread. Wouldn't recommend the hotel for families with kids due to the surrounding area. Otherwise a very comfortable and good hotel.

Big bonus is the location, walking distance to everything you need. Namba station will get you almost anywhere in Osaka. Price is pretty good too. I had a single double room, I only had a small backpack as I was in town for one night so didn't affect me much, but two suitcases would have taken up the entire available floor space.

This hotel is in a great location, approximately 10 minutes walk from the Namba main train station and 5 minute from the Namba subway station. its roughly 3 minute walk to the Dotonburi district. its close to the action but very quiet at the same time which was great! there are restaurants and 24hour shops close by.
as usual for hotels in Japan, the rooms are small but you have everything you need. shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush etc etc. the bathroom is compact but i didnt find it an issue at all. for the price we paid we couldnt have asked for more. would definitely stay here again!
from the Namba main train station we got the direct train to Kyoto which was really handy and the journey was only around 40minutes!

I stay in Hotel for 4 nights ( 3 nights in Nikko Osaka Hotel under package). This hotel fairly new build in 2012, room size Japan standard I had no complaint because I pay less . Free wifi in the room and the location is super. Subway Namba station exit 25 see the 24 hour Mc Donald walk further see a sport shop (Sporkata) turn left walk 2 min you can see the Hotel. Dotonburi area.

Room Tip: My room 916 face the lift but no problem no noise at all.

Modern hotel on a quiet street, 5 mins from night life in both directions, shops and metro. Rooms are small as previously mention but with nice decor and good bathrooms for size. Restaurants all around and small shops to get drinks and snacks, no coffee in Japanese hotels so bring a small jar if you are not a tea drinker.
