I really appreciate the design concept behind this contemporary reinterpretation of capsule hotels. Despite that this isn't a fully authentic capsule hotel design, it was worth the experience. It is larger than traditional capsule hotels (your room is a cube with a bed and small night stand). Keep this into consideration if you have a large suitcase(s), it just barely accommodates it. Also each cube isn't fully enclosed as the top and bottom of the folding door is open; that means no loud conversations or noise that disturb your neighbours. The only other minor flaw is that the staff did not speak very good English.
Interestingly being tailored to the Japanese demographics, the female washroom with its chic white minimalistic interior duals as a powder room equipped with a curling iron and hair straighter. The bathroom mimics the Japanese style public bath experience with wash stations, large soaking bath and a sauna (Be prepared to be naked!). Situated in the Namba area, it is in a prime location right next to everything and subway station. Definitely worth a stay!
