“Food court”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

Nothing much, just a regular food court with some souvenir shop.
I went inside because the wind outside is so cold.

“Better shopping else where”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Stuck inbetween the Ferris Wheel and the Aquarium you will naturally find yourself here at sometime. It has a good food court, and there is a little maze of very popular Japanese style eateries. The shopping is not good and aimed mainly at the tourist (local and international) who is visiting one of the big attractions. Not worth going here just for the shopping.

“Shopping mall with nice places to eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Tempozan Harbour Village is a shopping mall in the same location as the Kaiyukan aquarium and the ferris wheel. There are restaurants and a food court and is a nice place to eat if you are doing the nearby attractions.

“Great with toddlers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

We went to Tempozan Harbor Village after reading about it here. When you leave the train station to walk towards THV, you'll find a lot of small japanese cheap restaurants with good food. If you keep to the right at first there is a beautiful park with good views of the large bridge, the seaside and the skyscrapers. As you make your way towards the shopping centre you can enjoy walking along the seaside for most bits of the way.
The shopping centre itself sells a lot of touristy stuff on the ground level. If you go up a floor you'll find a hat shop and a clothing shop that seems to cater to local fashionistas both male and female. There also is a kiddy play land (zoo something) where your little ones and you can play for 550 yen per kid and 200 yen per adult for 40 minutes. it also has a cafe for the parents to relax and watch their kids playing. Our son really loved being there and climbing up the toy houses, crawling through tubes and go down slides.
In the end we ended up spending waaay to much time in the village and nearly missed the opening hours of osaka castle as a result.
If you feel like having a bigger culinary experience in the centre, there is a something-katsu near the play zoo for toddlers (and probably kids up to 10 years of age) that has a all you can eat in 60 minutes type of fondue: differnet kinds of veggies and meat on a skewer that are waiting to be battered and fried by you as you please.

“Don't miss this whilst at the Aquarium - great eating, shops and kids mazes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2011

Just wandering through after the Aquarium we found the Tempozan Harbour Village. Inside are many restaurants including an Australian one!, a Food Museum full of cheap local cuisine, the usual food outlets, shops and the 3rd floor has a great kids area.

The place to check out is the Ninja Adventure Maze. It cost around 500JPY each to enter a maze and solve a puzzle. There were secret doorways, paths, hidden ninjas - it was a great experience. We sadly failed our mission as we couldn't find the golden ninja weapon we needed, we could have been trying to find it for hours!!! They also have a great ninja shop with lots of cool accessories.

Across from the Ninja maze is a Pirate Maze, and outside around the corner is a Animal Petting Zoo. (It is near the entrance to the Ferris Wheel).

A great place to explore with some hidden treasures!
