“Upscale mall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Namba Parks is a very large, upscale mall with lots of designer and name brand stores. It looks nice and all, but a mall is a just a mall at the end of the day. Most of these name brand stores you can find in your own country.

“stunning architecture and light”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Wrong photo for the location, though.
Namba park is a high-end shopping mall and cinema with lower priced shops in the underground level. Window displays are amazing. Everything from furniture, clothing, restaurants, cooking classes to pet supplies and gifts. The architecture is stunning, depending on the time of day, the light comes down in the canyon type design. Gardens on each roof top level outside: flowers, tall grass, seating areas, terraces and cafés. a must see, centrally located.
Seating areas with comfy chairs and sofas in the corridors on upper levels to relax and enjoy views between shopping sprees. Even for window shopping only, in my case

“More mall than park.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

The name probably throws a lot of people, but it does have green space at the top.
When at the top, take a look down through the buildings. It's designed to look like a canyon. It does the job as well as one could expect from a mall.
There are more stores and restaurants than you can shake a stick at, but the prices can be a bit steep.
For my money you can find everything you want on the surrounding streets, and it feels more alive down there.

“well kept pretty garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Trust the japanese to devise such a pretty and organised "park" in the heart of the city. Well-manicured greens on the roofs of the mall. Take an easy stroll up via the stairs or the escalator to see different levels of gardens.

“Great place to shop , eat , relax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

Located in Osaka city centre , nice buildings , shopping malls , restaurants , etc etc . Great place to snap photos of your travel. Surrounding the area are also several shopping arcades , if you are looking for cheaper items .But remember - no bargaining in Osaka n Tokyo . If you don't like ,moved on to the next arcade ..............but you will see n get similar items n prices. For the men , park yourself in the many coffee outlets available , while the wife goes bargain hunting for the next 3 to 4 hours. A must place to visit while in Osaka .
