This hotel is old and they really need to replace their furniture in the lobby. It has a 7eleven on the ground floor so that was convenient. It is a 15 minutes walk to JR Namba. For all the JR pass holders, don't stay here. Instead, stay somewhere close to the JR Namba station as you'll need to go to shinosaka for sure. We had to use the midosuji subway several times to go to shin osaka so I really regret not researching this enough.
It is also a 30 mins walk to the dotombori.
The bathroom really smelled like sewage water- I think it was the bath or the sink but not the toilet.
Rooms are small - but this I expected.
I am 5'5 and had trouble fitting in the shower box so beware for you bigger and taller folks.
The cleaning lady was very nice and polite.
Wifi is lobby only and is quite slow.
You can borrow bicycles for a 1000¥ deposit which isn't too bad. Osaka is great on a bike.
Overall would not recommend this hotel. It is old, not conveniently located, bathroom is old and dingy/smelly and not worth the price we paid (800¥/night).

Pros:

- Very good value.
- Inexpensive breakfast at downstairs cafe
- Easy to find, and next to large street that has little traffic at night
- 10 minute walk to Namba station.
- Super clean room

Cons:

- Really hard pillows
- Very small bathroom, at least in a single room.
- Don't expect the staff to be fluent in English, but you won't have problems, trust me.

The hotel is located 10mins from namba station. Very convenient as seven eleven is just located on the ground floor of the hotel. Lobby is on the first floor. As for relaxing and chillin after a long day, we spend our time at the coffee shop on the ground floor. Rooms are small but we still can move around the rooms. Free Breakfast is provided at 6am but no refills once the bread and buns is finish. However u still can get juices and hot drinks for free. There is also the laundry room.
The only thing i dont like is the lift. Take ages for it to come down or go up. And if u are those types that shop alot. Be prepared. Overall, for those who dont mind walking and affordable price.

We (3 young women) stayed there 2 weeks ago for 3 nights and we were very disappointed to see the "smallness" of the room: we were living on top of each other with our lugagge put in every tiny corner. The reception staff didn't help us to change and get a bigger room.
That was the first disappointement.
The second was the next morning when at 6.30a.m. there were no longer breads in the lobby.
Then, the beds are very hard just as the pillows are. And the last day, the AC didn't work anymore.
Last but not least, the hotel was far away the Namba subway station (not 6minutes as they say on their website) and JR Namba station (15minutes when walking very quickly). Very long and very boring way (2 straight lines that never end).
Two positive sides: the free drinks in the lobby at any time and the location with convenience stores and fast food restaurants. I can add the property and services offered like toothbrushes, shampoos and cie.

2 adults and 2 small kids stayed here with ease. The hotel converted the couch into a bed and its as comfortable as the bed just a tad smaller in size. Typical small size room and modular bathroom. Breakfast can be had for 500yen each adult and consists of rice, egg, fried fish, soup etc. Tea coffee etc.A buffet. Free drinks in the lobby as well as free wifi from downstairs coffee shop. 3 TIPS for you:: Bring a wireless router and you can have wireless for everyone as they have free internet in the room via LAN cable. You can withdraw cash with your maestro cirrus logo bank card from Japan Post Bank. Just head up the main street towards Nipponbashi station. When you see big shop on left called UCC cafe, turn left into street. The post office is 200-300m down on your right. Use the ATM! Finally if u want some toast and eggs for brekky, again walk up the main road towards nipponbashi station this time only 200m or so and you will see cafe Senkaku or something like that and they have cheap brekkie sets.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2013. The room was not huge but clean and comfortable. Definetely love the massage chair in our room, very relaxing. They provided free flow (hot & cold) drinks in the lobby. The location was good. This hotel was within walking distance from Nippombashi station. Great value hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms with massage chair!!!
