“Excellent location, nice area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

The hotel room and bathroom was small, but had everything you need. Great neighbourhood as there were lots of small, interesting shops and restaurants all over. Near the main shopping district too, about 2 mins.

You can walk to Dotonbori at night, where there are lots of bars, clubs, restaurants, takoyaki, yakitori, and okonomiyaki places. Shinsaibashi itself is a fashionable, trendy area, so the neighbourhood is great.

It's also really near the Shinsaibashi station of the Red Midosuji Line. Which is just one stop away from the central Namba station. And connects straight to Umeda station.

The restaurant Planet 3rd in the lobby that serves breakfast had overpriced coffee, but you can easily walk to convenience stores nearby. It's also very near Pablo, the famous cheese tart place of Osaka.

Room Tip: The floors higher up are better. They're quiet. With lower floors you can kind of hear the noise...

I have been there for 4 nights and did not miss anything except free wifi in the room. Very good location, only minutes walk from Shinsaibashi station, close to both goodlooking big shopping stores and Dohtonborry( not sure about the spelling) - the walking area with plenty of shops and places to eat

Room Tip: Taxi from shin osaka is about 2800 yen. Metro is convenient but not when you with heavy suitcases.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel during cherry blossom. The hotel location is great, near to Shinsaibashi subway station, surrounded by convenient store and cafe, food is easy to get and shopping centre also everywhere. Shinsaibashi Shopping Street easy to access with just cross one road. Overall, the room is small, but still nice to stay. Wifi only available at lobby. There are vending machine located at floor 2-4th floor. Lobby has 2 restaurants/cafe. Hotel staff is nice and polite.

Room Tip: I think high floor is quiet. Opt for larger room if available. 2nd - 4th floor have vending machine.

The price for this hotel is cheap considering the central location situated. 2 minute walking distance to shinsaibashi station (exit 7)
Room appear to be small but it has comfy bed and all the necessities. It even has bathtub.
I discover Hotel in Japan do not provide Wifi inside room.
If you do not want to rent pocket wifi, pls bring laptop as Lan cable is provided.

perfect location, situated in americamura, 2 minutes from shinsaibashi shopping arcade and 10 minutes on foot to dotonbori and namba. not the smartest of rooms but very servicable with a very comfy bed in a not too tiny room with a standard unit bath. clean bed linen and towels every day. two week stay and we packed lightly so the laundry (situated in a alley behind the family mart) just around the corner was a god send. mido suji subway is very close (choose exit 8 when leaving the subway to save getting lost). we requested non smoking and were allocated a room on the tenth floor which is smoke free. we took a wifi router so we could plug into the lans connection in the room. no charge for lans. we would use this hotel again. very nice hotel

Room Tip: ask for tenth floor in the annex if you require smoke free.

The rooms were tiny but very clean and they contained all the necessities. Great price equivalent of roughly $80aud per night and wifi hire for $5aud per day. The location is excellent. Near great shopping and Shinsaibashi station. A couple of things about japan in general that we learnt this trip was hire a portable wifi from the airport as it's near impossible to get a prepaid sim! And make the most of having a sleep in as all the shops and most restaurants are closed until 10am.

This is a great hotel, amazing value for the price. Right in the heart of the busy Shinsaibashi area, with tones of shops and restaurants right around the corner. The train station is barely a 5-minute walk away. Room is typical Japanese size, a bit on the smaller size, but is very clean and has great amenities. The bed is a bit hard, but that's another common trend in all Japanese hotels. Another great thing about this hotel are the built in speakers in the room with many channels to choose from. Great value for your money!
