This is a typical business hotel in Japan, which means the room is very small and not big enough for two people with a couple of suitcases. For a single traveler though, it works well. There is no wifi, but a lan cable is provided. There is a convenience store a block away, and two train stations about 5 minutes that allow you to get most anywhere in the city quickly. It was less than 4,000 yen a night, and even has a cheap coin laundry out back if you are on a longer trip. True that the surrounding area isn't the most interesting, but Umeda is just a stop away.
