“Excellent location but an average hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Stayed here for 2 nights in November.
Positives
+Location: A big PLUS, excellent, Shinsaibashi area, 7-10 walk to the nearest station. A 2 min walk to the shopping street.
+ Clean beds and bathroom
Negatives:
-Rooms: Extremely small, If 2 + size people would find it difficult to share the bed. (Apparently they do not have twin beds)
- No Wi-Fi technically in the rooms, but the Wi-Fi is available in the lobby
- Breakfast was OK
Tips: Lots of things to do around the Hotel.
Final thoughts: If you want a good located Hotel and do not spend too much time the hotel and are willing to manage on a small bed then this an excellent place to choose.

if you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere.
This hotel isnt prominent, but once you locate it, you'll find it's a gem. The location is superb. Cant rem the exit number (think 9 or 10) from shinsaibashi train station. a mere 3 min walk.
Hotel sits on shinsaibashi shopping street where food is readily available. there is also a 100yen shop on the street. (Daikoku). It is also a 10 mins walk to Dotomburi.

Room: small (expected of japanese hotels) but enough for 2. Clean and good room service.
Would stay here again. most definitely.
oh, there's Free daily breakfast too.

Clean, tiny and great location. We booked relax rooms which come with latex matress and pillow. A foot massage machine inside this tiny room.
No wardrobe provided in the room. Free breakfast with limited selection.

Take exit 1 from Shinsaibashi station and walk underground to North exit 8 which has escalator up to Shinsaibashi suji.

Will be back if they offered great rate as Nikko Hotel Shinsaibashi rate just about the same rate if you book 80 days in advance.

Terrific location, in the middle of everything. Very close to the subway with direct connection to Shinkansen Railway Station. Clean, comfortable and cheap: what else?

This is my third time in Osaka, I considered this hotel the best location compared to previous hotels I'd stayed. The hotel is very convenient for travelers, just 2 mins walk from nearest subway station and the main shopping street is just 10 steps walk from the hotel plus variety of restaurants and bars are like fish in the ocean. Don't have to talk much about the room because most of Hotels in Japan's main cities is normally really small and nothing much different for business hotel like this one. The breakfast is okay, room is clean enough, overall this hotel is quite new and not so expensive for this location.

This hotel is compact and basic therefore was a great place to crash after a long day exploring. The room was small but clean (like every hotel stayed in in Japan) but I found the room quite hot. Also the view was abit lame - brick wall about 30cm from the window! The compliamentry breakfast was nice - primarily Japanese style (fish rice etc). But the best thing about this hotel was the location. Right in the heart of Shinsaibashi therefore great for shopping and a pleasant walk from Namba for food and nightlife. Would recommend for people wanting to explore Osaka.
