We went to this place twice on a recent 3-day trip to Kyoto because the first time was so good that we had to go again. Its a conveyor belt-style sushi restaurant so you help yourself to whatever happens to be sliding past you, and every dish is 137 yen (unless it says otherwise - more expensive dishes are very clearly marked even for non-Japanese speakers/readers). They have an English menu if you need it so you know what you're about to put in your mouth. The chefs make the sushi in front of you on the inside of the conveyor belt, so you know its fresh, and it's absolutely delicious. I made an absolute pig of myself (15 plates) and it still didn't come to much more than the equivalent of £15, and that includes as much Japanese tea as you want.
I would definitely recommend this place to any sushi-lovers going to Kyoto. There is one branch in Ebisucho, and another in Kyoto Station. They're both great! You wont regret it!
