Less than 5 minute walk south of the Kyoto Train Station, this place caught our eye immediately. The mix of modern, fresh style and traditional Japanese style makes for a great first impression. We were seated in a private Japanese style room.
The friendly staff helped me, my husband and our 2 kids with some great recommendations from their easy to understand, visibly pleasing menu (which was written in both English and Japanese) The food was excellent. We ordered a mix of their small dishes. The chicken wings were savory. We ordered seconds on the yuba tofu and the cheese skewers. They had a nice selection of beers, including a local seasonal autumn beer.
We were thrilled that one of our favorite meals in Japan, was also one of the most inexpensive ($80 for 4 of us including beer).
