We have been visiting Daiei Teppanyaki for the past 10 years and have seen the place expand over time. We left Kobe 7 years ago and have always visited the Teppanyaki run by the Takagi family every time we visit. Even the Sumi Yokuzuno Akebono eats in this place!
Our most recent visit was this April. We reserved about 2 weeks before arriving to make sure we can have our special Kobe Beef dinner!
And we renewed our friendship with the Takagi family. Mayumi-chan took care of us that evening. The Kobe Beef tenderloin was heavenly - soft, tender and flavorful! The other specialty of the house we love is their stir fried oyster - with limited availability.
And the food is outstanding value.
The restaurant is walking distance from the Shin Zai KE station on the Hanshin line!
