Kobe Harborland is a great place to spend half a day. Be sure to bring your camera and a hearty appetite. Begin your tour of Harborland by taking a boat cruise. After the cruise, walk to the shopping complex Mosiac (1 min). Mosiac features international restaurants, shops, a movie theater, and a print club (where you can borrow costumes). On the second floor of Mosaic, pause for a 'Kodak moment' and take pictures of Kobe Tower. Treat yourself to a buffet lunch, and buy a souveneir of Kobe. Despite its commercial nature, the setting of Mosaic is quite pleasing. After exploring Mosiac, walk to the amusement park (30 sec.) and re-vist your childhood by driving a giant stuffed animal. Next, walk across the road and visit the newly opened Bee's Kiss. In Bee's Kiss, head to Dessert Harbor which contains oodles of dessert shops and a section of blood pressure machines(!). At the top of Bees Kiss you can work off lunch. Waddle your way to U-Para where you can play video games, soak your feet, sing karaoke, or shoot guns for a flat rate (around 1,200 yen/hour). Serious shoppers will love Hankyu and the top floor of the Comme Ca Store which sells ridiculously cheap housewear and clothes.
