“Watching Kobe Tower and Kawasaki Maritime Museum from Harbor Land”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Visited Kobe in August 2013 with my children,Spent the whole day touring around the city taking the City Loop bus which was cheap (only 600 yen fare for a whole day trip-on and off regardless of the number of places you visit). Our last stop was Meriken Park and Kobe Harbor Land. A fashionable area on a waterfront with lots of amusements and stores.
Since we all got hungry for hours of sightseeing we decided to have dinner near the bay.
While enjoying our dinner at one of Mosaic's complex restaurants we could see the beautiful view of Kobe Tower and Kawasaki Marine Museum being lighted up. There was also a light show.
Kobe is a lovely City. Next time I'm planning to visit Kobe City again with my firends.

“Beautiful area for shopping, dining and just chilling.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

My boyfriend and I went to the Kobe Tower, which was okay. Afterwards we walked around in Harbourland. The area is very beautiful. The paths very wide, you don't feel crowded at all. There is a big shopping mall with a lot of local and international shops as well as many restaurants. We didn't have all night to spend here as we planned to go to Mt. Rokko, which turned to be just okay. I would have liked to spend more time here if I could.

“A touristy seaside collection of restaurants and stores”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

A stroll around this area came recommended with a hint of hesitation in our guide's voice. This open air mall of souvenir shops and stalls includes some medium to high end restaurants, the Anpanman Museum (a cartoon character cherished by Japan's small children) and a magic store filled with VHS tapes.
Worth it if you have small kids, of you're in the area anyway, otherwise skip it and head to Chinatown for a much better gawk and feed.

“Night view in Kobe horbor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Kobe is quite well-known as a pretty sea port to Asians.. But personally, I was not interested in. But this time since I was travelling with friends, I followed majority's opinion to visit there. There is Chinese town, small and short street but interesting to walk around to taste street food. Then if you walk more than 10 min or so, you arrive at the square of the horbor. Spending couple of hours having a dinner, looking at the cruises that come and go through the resto window. Most of visitors are family members or lovers. Pls try this place where you can fell the stop moment of your busy & nosy routine life..

“You Must Go To Harborland When In Kobe.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

The Kobe Port Tower is a must see. The shopping at the two malls, Mosaic and Umie, have wonderful and affordable shops. Please note, when going through Umie....you can go through the underground subway and walk to the Kosuko Kobe Station, Kobe Station and Shinkaichi Station.
