My husband and I stayed at this Ryokan for 2 nights on our recent trip to Japan. We were able to book online in English through the Welcome Inn website. The Inn is conveniently located within walking distance of the Peace Park/museum and city, and also very close to the tram line for going to the JR station at the other end of town, or getting to town if you don’t feel like walking. The rooms were quite small compared to other ryokans we stayed at but they were comfortable and contained everything we needed. The toilet/bathroom facilities were clean and convenient and the dining room contained lots of tourist information on sights in the area. The hostess is able to communicate in English and was very helpful and organised. Paying by credit card is also very convenient, but be warned you may be asked to pay in advance! We were a bit taken aback by this but it seems that there isn’t always someone at reception so they prefer you to pay first so they don’t have to worry about missing you when you leave. Overall we found Ryokan Sansui to be a very pleasant place to base ourselves while visiting Hiroshima.
