So I stayed at a station near the Hiroshima Station for two nights then moved to this one as all the hotels in hiroshima were booked out due to it being a long weekend and the fact that a big high school basketball tournament was on. The good - the room was bigger than usual for Japanese hotels. It was clean and well laid out. The doors have been replaced recently with key cards and the internal door that another reviewer noted has been removed. probably makes it feel more spacious. The not so good - the walls are too thin. Luckily the neighbours were quiet but if they were not it would be annoying (or gratifying if youre into that sort of thing!). The staff are very polite and helpful and have English maps available. There is free coffee but as another reviewer noted only after 4pm. There is a nice lounge area downstairs although people can smoke there and maybe a national paper in English on the newspaper stand although Im not 100% sure as I didnt look too closely. It is well located with Hiroshioma Station being located about 12 minutes away (or two tram stops) and the centre of town being about 3 stops or 20 or so minutes away across the bridge in the other direction.
